"Forget your stupid garden! Get your grimy hind to the market and buy me some real food!" |
— Yon Rha's mother to her son.[1] |
Yon Rha's mother was the strict and unappreciative caretaker of Yon Rha's house. Often disrespectful of her son, she and Yon Rha shared a mutual distaste for one another.[2][3]
History[]
Yon Rha's mother complained to her son that she was unable to eat the tomato-carrots from his garden, as she lacked teeth, and demanded he buy softer food for her at the village market.
Unbeknownst to her, Yon Rha offered her life to Katara, who was set on killing him to take revenge for the murder of her mother by his hands, in hopes to spare his own.[1]
