Wolfbats are a cross between a wolf and a bat. They are the size of a wolf, but have wings and are able to fly just like a bat. Wolfbats are native to the caves of the Earth Kingdom. They are territorial animals, so if you ever hear their distinct howl, it's best to turn back and not disturb them. Wolfbats are a nocturnal animal, only leaving the caves at night. Wolfbats seem to fly in groups, making them all the more dangerous. Wolfbats are only made prey by the huge Badgermoles that share their catacombs.

The wolfbat is pretty much exactly what its name indicates: a fusion between a wolf and a bat. Its body is, for the most part, exactly like that of a wolf, excepting the bat wings under its front legs and its bat-like face. It is unclear whether the Wolfbat uses sonar to determine the locations of its prey or if it can see like a wolf.
