The Waterbending Scroll was a scroll containing basic Waterbending combat moves.
[edit] History
The scroll originally came from the Northern Water Tribe until it was stolen by pirates. The Pirate Captain had a buyer in the Earth Kingdom who was willing to pay two hundred gold pieces for it. It was stolen from them by Katara, who was wanting to learn Waterbending moves. The only move known to be written on the scroll is the water whip. She kept it until she gave it to Wan Shi Tong to allow the group to use his library. It was lost when Wan Shi Tong buried the library into the sand of the desert.

[edit] Trivia
- The move on the top of the scroll is the move the shadowed Waterbender in the opening demonstrates.
- The Lost Scrolls: Water booklet states the Waterbending scroll is a legendary artifact stolen from the Northern Tribe long ago by pirates. It contains ancient techniques believed to be lost forever. The legendary status of the scroll is likely non-canon, as the scroll contains the most basic of Waterbending techniques which even an average Waterbender is capable of performing.
