KTA, I don't think you know the half of what this user has done. He's had multiple sockpuppet accounts, and has even been racist toward a few users. Just because he has the word Azula in his name, it doesn;'t mean he should be unblocked. Plus, his block on another account should be almost over anyway. All the overviews seem to be in present, but why isn't that right? They all read for example on The Headband, "Aang and friends steal Fire Nation clothes" not "Aang and friends stole Fire Nation clothes". This is what we want it to be? Or is it just the Goofs section, as that was all he was changing? I'm a little less tenacious about that, as that is not in the description of the episode, and actually sounds a whole lot better. Omnibender was reverted his edits to the Goofs section, but I think those (but not the synopses) sound good in preterite tense. --Energybender 22:23, September 28, 2009 (UTC)

I just remember reading that present tense only applies to location, creature, and character pages. So I assume that past tense applies to the entire episode page, but I've only been editing goofs. --JFH2009 01:14, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

The overviews should be written in past tense, because they are describing an event that has occurred. Sections of articles describing places or people or the functionalities of machines etc. should be written in present tense because they are describing them as they appear now. If I may share my opinion, I think Goofs (and perhaps Trivia) should be in present tense. Unlike synopses, they are no longer accounts of events, because we have singled them out as individual acts on their own. It is like taking a video that has already been played through and rewinding it back to the point where the goof occurs, then hitting play and saying, "there, that's happening now". Synopses and event accounts should be in past tense though, since they are accounts of what has already transpired. --Secretss 14:35, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Our goal here is to let the fanon community hear about some new fanon, and their authors. This issue’s “newest fanon” is Avatar: Guardian. The fanon is written by The Bos, a new user at AW. So, in an effort to get some details of his new fanon, I interviewed him on IRC to give you guys some inside details. Guardian is all about Team Avatar against factions of the 3 nations who want to continue the war. The Air Nomads are back due to Aang’s energybending, Toph is helping rebuild Omashu, Sokka went back to Piandao to get a new sword, and Zuko married Mai. Of course, several new characters are coming including Mitros, Jiang Rha, and Cheng. Bos was inspired to write fanon when he and his friends started talking and knew the war would not end peacefully. The name came from the necessity to "Guard" the world peace they fought to get and the plot was from some history, video games and other stories that introduced family of main characters. Several of those were the Knights Templar, which will be more helpful in the future, and he based the entirety of Mitros off of Kratos from God of War. Bos has enjoyed the community at AW, and reads some other fanon including Kyoshi Revolts, Wanted, and the The Phoenix Chronicles to name a few. Bos plans on writing a full 61 chapters for his series; and has some ideas for a future series as well. He also hopes to release the chapters on a weekly basis, mostly on Fridays. Also, Bos has given us a special sneak preview of the next chapter: "Okay, what are we going to do about all the crazy people trying to destroy the world?" Aang and Katara sit up; Zuko and Sokka stop their petty argument and begin brainstorming. Aang tosses the first idea out, "Maybe we should go in the Avatar cycle: defeat the Water benders first, then the Dai Li, and then finish by finding the Fire benders." Katara looks at him, understanding what he is saying, but wondering why he chose the order "Why that order, Aang?" So good luck with the fanon The Bos, I can already tell it’s going to be great! Training and romance drive latest 'Kyoshi' chapter by SuperFlash101 As most Fanon users know, the latest chapter of Kyoshi Revolts came out a couple of weeks ago. The chapter, tentatively entitled "Rebel Lessons, Part 2," continue where the previous chapter left off - Chen is training with Ray, while Giu tags along for the soul purpose of getting to touch Ray's but. But now we get to see Mina and Kaila getting a training lesson of there own, which made this chapter even better. We're so early into book two, but it's easy to say this is turning out to be as good as - or even better than - the first. "Rebel Lessons" was the perfect example of a good Kyoshi Revolts chapter: mixing comedy with action and drama, it reminded me of an actual Avatar episode. It was cool to see Kaila going all Naruto with her new kunai knives, which I'd guess will appear more in the series. Chen's Waterbending prowess is clearly mediocre, but like his predecessor, I'm sure he'll be better by the middle part of the book. Plus, he even bloodbended, which is always an awesome thing to see being included in any Avatar fanfic. Not to mention, he almost asked Kaila out - their relationship is shaping up to be one of the best parts of the whole story, so I can't wait to see what happens next. So if you haven't read "Rebel Lessons" or any chapter of Kyoshi Revolts, I recommend you do so pronto. The story is one of best Avatar fics out there and always delivers, especially with this new chap. Overall: A+

My bad. There is actually a lack of material to be reported. The only thing that has been posted for inclusion so far is the piece you wrote halfway through October. Not much has actually, really happened since the last issue, which was as bare as could be anyway. Because you auto-watch all pages which you create, you're watching the user_blog_coment: page, and some code turns that data in your watchlist and wherever that is parsed into the parent article. • user is ns2, user_talk ns3 (4 is project)
• when defining something like you did, where you only wanted it to take effect in a certain namespace (or even page, etc) you have to do define it before every element/id/name, so when using a comma you must still do it.

I'm not sure if we need something like that, to be honest. The article Bending Arts is two clicks away from the main page via the "Universe" link, and it's quite easy to find the bending styles on the menu. That's just me though; I think you should suggest this on the main community forum and see what others think. Thanks for the suggestion though.
