Should the the Central forum have a discussion closed tag put on it? I think since this conflict is resolved now that Zuko...excuse me, Kevin is now banished that this should happen. Then again, he does have a Central Wikia user name, so it could be unuseful. Hi -- I just responded to your comment on the Central forum about Kevin... Don't worry about me getting involved with that. That was a community decision that you guys came to after a lot of discussion. I've been there myself with plenty of people; I know how it goes when you have to ban somebody for being disruptive.

I do have one suggestion for you, which you can take or leave. In general, I don't think it's a good idea to blank talk pages. You blanked Kevin's when you protected it, and I also see that you periodically clean up your own talk page too.

Anyway, the discussions you have on talk pages are essentially the history of the wiki, and the explanation for why you made certain decisions. When ChaosMaster16 requested the Avatar World wiki, he wrote that he'd talked to the main admin about branching off into a new wiki. I looked at a bunch of talk pages today to see if that was true, but it's not easy to tell, because some of the pages have been blanked. I could dig into the history, but that gets harder to do if the event you're looking for was farther in the past, and the page has been blanked several times since then. A couple years from now, if a new regular contributor wants to understand why certain decisions were made, it'll be hard to find the discussions.

For Kevin, you could unblank the page, but keep it protected -- so he won't be able to post on it, but the history of that decision is there for everyone to see.

For regular user talk pages, my suggestion is that when you want to clean up the page, then create an archive page, and paste the discussions there. Some wikis do that using a slash after the page name -- something like User talk:Howabout1/Archive 1. On Muppet Wiki, we've got an Archives category, with subcategories for talk page archives and community portal archives. All the discussions are in there somewhere, and if someone is interested in an old conversation, then you can search for it. When you blank the page, it can't be searched.

Anyway, that's my suggestion. Scott and I will check back with you about the duplicate wiki thing. If you have any other problems, please let us know -- you can just leave a message on Scott's talk page, or mine. I've got no objections to the not writing on each others user talk pages but the other talk pages as well? I really dont see why we must do that but okay I wont address him anymore. He always been an over reacting kinda guy and he most probably messaged you after I wrote the last three posts on his talk page where I acknowledged that I wont post on his talk page. At least i did'nt BlackList him on my User Page. I know you're tired of this and so am I. Thats why I agreed when he asked me to stop posting on his talk page. But instead of thankfulness he went as far as to complain to you when I only acknowledged and asked him to do the same. He's always been like this. Do you know that He used the Discussion Closed Template and wrote the result as Stobborness wins over correct info or some such thing on the Template Talk:AvatarLocations. Then when I wrote the professional version he goes so far as to write that he liked the other result better. I didnt complain to you. Instead I asked him not to write such comments. Instead of listening he then wrote that okay he will lie from now on supposedly like me. Come to think of it I have no other problems like this with the other Admins. I respect your decision by the way, but if he decides to give incorrect/uncertain info or stinging remarks again I will write my opinion. I wont address him directly however as you asked. If you want to revoke my adminship now then go ahead and do so. But hear this. I've been checking on this wikia once every day for the past many days. I worked hard to create most of the nav templates you're using. I've reverted much of the vandalism that has recently pagued this wikia. All in all I've been honestly devoted and a hard worker. Losing me would be a mistake. I wont be like Kuzon and I wont resort to vandalism. But my absense will be felt. The first post after felinoel's request acknowledged and agreed to his request and addressed a few final misconceptions of which I did'nt even want replies, the second post requsted him the same thing he requested me (ie: not to post on my page). After the second post I got a message from Felinoel that I had supposidy violated the request (It was probably around this time that he sent you the message) so I sent a third post saying and I quote: Look Who's Talking. I wont post after this if you wont. You can acknowledge but no more. See Felinoels page. He always done these kind of things. Besides look at how he writes, accusing me of slander without any real proof. He has'nt even seen the posts I posted. I noticed that there are lots of user pages which barely contains anything, usually a "Character X rocks!" or an image, sometimes their own characters. You think we should delete said pages? They add nothing to the Wikia and they take up space. Omnibender - Talk 18:32, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Everyone has a right to have a user page. I know for a fact though, that on Bulbapedia, there are limits on edits to user pages, since their server is a beast. felinoel just came on to my Talk pageand posted a nonspecific comment, which may have had something to do with something to do with something I said to Zero (I say "may", because I have no clue what he was talking about). When I asked him to explain himself, he just led me in circles. I think this kid was just messing with me. I don't know why, maybe it has to do with our argument over Sokka's profile pic. I wouldn't complain to anyone else about this, except that this isn't good behavior for an admin, and you should know about it.

Me telling you that Zero broke your rule by posting in a discussion I was in is definitely possibly something that sounds to someone else who doesn't know whats going on that I am trying to get Zero to not vote. I'm still having trouble believing you. You say to me that Zero broke the rule, I say he didn't. Zero says he doesn't believe his vote matters, and Puragus says it does. That makes you tell Puragus you have no problem with his voting? A lot of my problem with it is the way you went about it. Especially your last post. I just wanted to ask you a few small questions. I know that we have personal lives and school work to tend to. I feel that those things are far more important than serving as a bureaucrat on a wiki. But, if you are going to have these spells of inactivity, should you not grant bureaucracy to another user? It is quite hard to run a wiki without a bureaucrat. If you are going to continue to have these spells of inactivity, don't you agree that you should grant another user or admin with bureaucracy? I hope that these spells of inactivity will stop. But, I know how life works and I don't think that a wiki is very important on the big scale of things in life. So, I was only suggesting that you put some serious thought into this. We do not have that great of a need for a bureaucrat right now. All I meant was that it would be nice to have another active user be one. You have admitted to your inactivity. Your last spell was for almost a month. A lot can happen in a month. In one of the wikis I was once an active contributer, nearly the entire administration resigned. What I meant, what I want, is to have another active administrator that we can trust to be given bureaucracy. One day, you might have another spell of inactivity that lasts a while. You might just forget about the wiki and leave us behind. I know that there are far more important things in life. Hey Howabout1. We'd like to get this over with as little of conflict as possible, so we'd like to go to you directly. Regarding your 'crat and admin flag, we'd like to know if you're actually going to need/use it. Our goal is to clear the list of admins and bureaucrats to only active ones, and if you're planning to not remain active, we'll need to remove your 'powers'. • Create a user group to collaborate with your fellow users on a project of your choice! Name it after your favorite organization from the series! Choose how you want to run your group! See this and this group for an example of a great user group.
• Write a blog about anything - who are you favourite characters? Why? What do you think of the new movie? What do you think of how we run things on the wiki? You can also write reviews of episodes, advertise fanon or fan fiction that you've written, and so much more!
• Jump into the forums and discuss the series and films with other Avatar fans! Ask your questions about the series, and answer others'! You can discuss anything about Avatar - your favourite characters, comparisons between characters and characters from other series, and much more!
• Not satisfied? Jump on the wiki's chat service and talk about anything with other Avatar users - it doesn't have to be about Avatar! If you already have IRC, you can simply join #wikia-Avatar on freenode.
• Help us make important decisions on the wiki's future by simply commenting on our proposals! Every registered user can vote almost everywhere! Jump in and play your part in the direction this wiki takes for the next few months, or even years.
• Do you have any more ideas? Well Howabout1, head straight onto our community centre and give us some more suggestions, or even general feedback. We'd love to hear from you!

• Integrate Avatar Wiki and the Avatar Fanon Wiki into one big wiki, the ultimate Avatar resource on the Internet
• Source all articles so that we can reinforce the fact that we have the most accurate, up-to-date information on Avatar
