The existence of Toph Candidates has sparked a contentious vote on Votes for Deletion, a vote that I have now closed without a final result. I am concerned that, unlike in the past when I first joined this wiki, we no longer engage in thought-out discussion, resorting to using votes as a solution to everything. Decision-making on a wiki is about community agreement and consensus, not about "majority rule".
Thus, we are now engaging in proper discussion about the fate of the article. Keep in mind that the goal is to reach an agreement. Note that I have now completely rewritten the page to cut out what I considered to be non-neutral, opinionated rubbish.
