Just a quick little update. Over the past week, April Stewart, a long-time voice actor from multiple Nickelodeon series, has made several statements on Twitter. These statements hint at an April 2013 release for Book 2 of The Legend of Korra. Here's what she's had to say:
"Legend of Korra fans- I can't believe I have to keep my mouth shut till Next April! It will be worth the wait! I promise!"
“@EleventyKeeyy: dudes i'm pretty stoked that @Aprilstewart has joined LOK voice cast #aprilcomesoonplease See you in Book2 #LegendofKorra"
Both tweets from April seem pretty clear that Book 2 of LoK will be released in April 2013. The first episode of Book 1, Welcome to Republic City, was also released in April, so another release in April sounds …Read more >
Amon is the central antagonist in The Legend of Korra, and is the leader of the anti-bending group known as the Equalists who aim to rid the world of benders.
I've placed the references for my theory below the theory itself. I hope you enjoy the read, and as always please leave your responses and opinions in a comment below. I'll try to read as many as possible. :)
At the ending of the second season of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Aang was attacked with a bolt of lighting from Azula. After being attacked, we see Aang's Avatar Spirit fall from the plane of existence and Aang is essentially dead. At this time Aang was 12 years of age. Early this month Nickelodeon released part of the first Legend of Korra game. Unlocked at the time was only parts 1, 2 and 3 of a total of 9 parts to be released in the coming weeks. The game is fairly basic, allowing us to learn small bits of background information and explore new parts of Republic City. Since the first two episodes can only be watched in the US, living in Australia and getting my hands on these videos was a struggle, and I know I'm not alone. For every Korra fan outside of the United States, this is for you! :D
Episode #1 - Welcome to Republic City - http://videos.sapo.pt/NUdrZDfnHPysHd1usfPB
Episode #2 - A Leaf in the Wind - http://www.220.ro/animale/Korra-S102/ubOT37TL7I/
The first episode loads fairly quickly, but the second episode took me close to an hour for it to load. I don't know how long it's going to take to load for the rest of you, but just be patient and hang in there - it's worth it! Anyway, hopefully this helps to anybody who's been searching all over the internet in search for the first two episodes. :)
