The Revelation is upon us my Brothers and Sisters!

One of my favorite internet Celebrities (and possibly the funniest), Doug Walker AKA The Nostalgia Critic. Has stated that he plans to review M. Night Shymalan's adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender! I'm really excited personally. We (and by we I mean the majority of the Airbender and TGWTG fanbase) have been asking him to review Shymalans horrid sorry excuse of an adaptation since the day it was released!

He has taken shots at the film before, he had a few clips of it in his review of M Night Shymalan'sSigns and has mentioned the animated series and Iroh's Voice Actor Mako in his Review ofRed Sonja.

But he has never actually reviewed the film itself. But now he's doing it, and I think it's going to be his best review yet!

But before the Main Event, to prepare himself for the review of Last Airbender, he has stated in the video above that he is going to review every episode of the original series first (As himself, not the character of the Nostalgia Critic). So he can properly understand why people love the series, but hate the film. To find out why it is so reviled, why it fails as an Adaptation, why the casting is wrong etc.

He has stated he plans to review the series one episode a night, so it is likely he will not be able to review the actual film for about. . .  three months? So by summers end, we should see a Nostalgia Critic review of both ATLA and Shymalans film. Maybe even a Legend of Korra review down the road (if we are lucky).

I love Doug Walker, true I do not always agree with him, but he usually has excellent points, when he is pointing out the flaws in films and TV Shows, he always does it with a dose of humor. He doesn't make bad movies, he makes bad movies funny!

Here is the link to his Website, TGWTG.COM. Filled with goodies, and reviews for fanboys of every caling!

Fair warning: some of his videos are not appropriate for a younger audience, parents beware!
