As I have done for Book Three: Change, this is a scene by scene analysis of the trailer for Book Four: Balance. Time codes indicated are for the youtube video. This was a great trailer, one that I might say would perhaps be better suited if this Book was called Change instead, as there were a lot of significant changes to the status quo of the series. I'll add my own speculations and opinions along with the analysis.

    1. 0:00 - 0:03. A black and white shot of Korra bound in chains by the Red Lotus from Book Three with Tenzin saying "there would no Air Nation without Avatar Korra". Nothing new here.
    2. 0:04 - 0:07 Another black and white shot of Korra from Book Three, this time her being asphyxiated by Zaheer. Tenzin again says that "she opened the…

As you probably know by now, Nick has released an official Book Three: Change trailer. In this post, I'm going break down the trailer scene by scene, discussing anything I see interesting. I'm using the official video as a basis for the time codes. I enjoyed the trailer very much, to the point I might consider doing episode reviews once Book Three starts airing.

    1. 0:00 - 0:10 A rotating symbol and the books title. This is similar to how the Book Two: Spirits trailer began, no surprise there, but we can compare and contrast the two a lot. Book Two had a much more stylized symbol, sectioned into four parts, two rotating clockwise and two counter clockwise, against a black background. As the four sections aligned, the Book's title appeared with…

A few months back, we finally got ourselves a book two trailer. It followed much hype, anticipation, and speculation. With just over half of Book Two past us, let's take a look back at the trailer, and see what can be deduced or guessed based on what we have yet to see from the trailer, considering what we have seen in the series. All time points are from Nick's official video at YouTube, which I'm having trouble finding the original, Nick's channel is restricted, and does not show up in my country, so I can see their videos, but I can't access their channel page. Great logic there. If you can, please leave the link in a comment, and I'll update the post. There are 17 shots from the trailer that have yet to appear in an episode.

    EDIT: Not f…

More news on the voice-acting front. According to this tweet by Jason Marsden, he, Anne Heche, Jason Isaacs and an actress he calls "little girl from Mad Men" are at work in Legend of Korra. Jason Isaacs has previously voice Zhao in Avatar: The Last Airbender. Jason Isaacs joins Dante Basco, Grey DeLisle, Clancy Brown, Dee Bradley Baker, Daniel Dae Kim, James Sie, Kevin Michael Richardson, and Amy Hill as actors who have voiced characters in both series. If rumours around the internet are correct, recording of Book 4 should be under way, so it'll probably be a while before we learn anything about their characters.

    Nostalgia Critic

    July 6, 2013 by Omnibender

Lo and behold, I actually made a blog post, it's the end of times. Now, why am I doing this? Well, I recently discovered that Doug Walker aka Nostalgia Critic from Channel Awesome is doing reviews on ATLA, usually one video per chapter, except for certain two-parters. It appears he's doing this because he was asked to give his take on "The Last Airbender", and he (rightly) figured that he would need to know the source material before actually passing judgement on the movie, so he is now an owner of all three books' DVDs. At the time of this post, he has covered all of Book 1, and is half-way through Book 2, the latest video reviewing "The Library".

His favorite character is Zuko, and in one of the videos, he went to great lengths to praise …
