Omashu Rocks here for another installment of FRS:The Omashu Scoop! Today's fanon isby .
Official Plot: The Avatar has always been a force for balance within the world, but, as of late, it seems as if the Spirit World has been encroaching on the human world in ways that could have disastrous implications if left unchecked. Now, Avatar Argho, along with his allies, must face some of the most powerful and ancient spirits that have ever existed, spirits that have been vying for power since time immemorial. Can they face down the darkness, or will the world crumble?
Plot/Storyline: I'm a fan of Mageddon725's Spirit War trilogy, and he has an advantage here. There have already been two series to establish some sort of basic storyline and writing style. I can also say that It All Ends has the most intriguing plot of the trilogy. 9.5
Creativity: There are really a ton of new and unique things that Mageddon offers in his latest series. I really want to go into specifics about one thing in particular (but spoilers are a pain, aren't they?) Just read it. 9.4
Action: There are certain fanons I like to study to improve my own action scenes. I can now add this one to the list! Consider the action of this story to be Omashu Approved. 9.4
Interest Level: If I ask myself if I'll keep reading after the review, the answer is a big fat "YES" without a doubt. 9.5
Character Development: Character development was slightly better in the previous series of Spirit War, but I still have no complaints. 9.3
Believability: I hate giving believability a grade, really. My personal view is that every fanon will and should have some unbelievable aspects. I regretfully add a score here. 9.0
General Writing: Mageddon is an excellent writer, and I refer to his battle descriptions in particular. In fact, it's descriptions that really drive this fanon: scenery, emotions, what-otherwise-could-be-confusing-events and the like. 9.4
Average Score: 9.36 (I go to the nearest hundredth now, compared to my other reviews this would be a 9.4)
Note: All Scores Are Out Of Ten
What Mageddon725 does right:
Some terrible plots are saved by beautiful writing or even cool illustrations, this one needs neither (but has both). This is one of the few fanons on the wiki that I believe has a genuinely captivating storyline that matters, makes me care, and drives readers to the next chapter.
What Mageddon725 could improve on:
My one issue is that, while it's fun to read the story of the characters, and while I appreciate the characters, I just don't feel for them the way I've felt for them in the first two series of the trilogy.
Who does It All Ends appeal to? Well I can literally tell you two of it's avid readers: Wordbender and AvatarRokusGhost. If those endorsements don't make you want to read, then I'll just tell you that if we had a "Top 10" of current fanons (still being written), this would be in there.
