The Final Avatar

This week's review is The Final Avatar, written by Thebiguglyalien. The story is set 490 years after Sozin's Comet, or 390 years after the end of the series. Here we meet Zaru, the current Fire Nation Avatar. He is training to master the four elements with the threat of greedy Earth King Boli's army taking over the world.

Soon, an Earth Nation general, Voe, attacks his house and kidnaps his mother. With the help of his great uncle, Erus, and the loyal Kyoshi Warriors, they infiltrate Boli's palace and retrieve the mother, losing Zaru's father in the process. After returning to Erus' house and being constantly attacked there, they flee to the Western Air Temple. There, Zaru learns airbending by having Aang take over his body and show him the moves.

This series is unique in the fact that it states that there are no airbenders for the next avatar to be born into, making Zaru, as the name states, the final avatar. With the constant threat of ending the avatar and Boli's takeover, this new series is one to watch as the truly unique story progresses and keeps developing.
