This story details the fragmentation of the Four Nations into several fractured countries constantly at war with each other due to the stupidity of their dictators. In the country of Vuon, located in the center of the former Fire Nation, we meet Lin. She is a depressed, hopeless teenage girl who has to hide her firebending from the local authorties. Tired of the life she has with her mother, she leaves Vuon for a better life in the East.
Meanwhile, in the country of Gust, we meet Po. One night while at his grandfather's deathbed, he learns that he is an airbender descended from the remnants of the Air Nomads. As if that was not enough, he is also the longlost Avatar, meant to bring the Four Nations back from the fractured pieces of his torn world. With this new knowledge and his grandfather's glider, he leaves to master the four elements and fulfill his destiny.
Overall, I was excited to read a story from a fan of my story. And I can honestly say I was throughly impressed by the creativity in bringing the warring countries to life in this dystopian society. I'd recommend this to anyone who is a fan of post-apolcalyptic stories. Well done Sirius. Well done.
