This week's review is The First Anti-Bender, written by.
This story details Jamie, the youngest child in a family of ten benders. He lives out his life with resentment towards bending and dealing with abuse from his judging father, who views him as a failure for being the one nonbender in the family. All the while rumors circulate about a Resistance, the first Anti Benders who have come scarily close to killing the Avatar. As the story continues, Jamie continues learning more about the Resistance and the past War, dreaming of the day when he can lead the Resistance and take them to new levels.
I’ve heard a lot of buzz about this story. I mean a LOT. If Moon Beam hadn’t asked me to review her story, I would’ve done it anyway to see what all the hype was about. And I’m glad I did. The First Anti-Bender grabs you into Jamie’s life from the first chapter and gives you a chance to really bond with him as he lives out his life surrounded by benders. I’d recommend it to anyone, good job Moon Beam!
