Sokka as therapist This blog is an official interview of the Fanon Fact Finders. We hope you enjoy it!

This is a test interview starring:
Humble Imaginations, author of Helping One Another.
Hosted by KataraLover, for the Fanon Fact Finders.

Starting Off

Me: Hello, Humble! Thank you for coming!

Humble: Hey. You're welcome. :)

Question 1

Q: What inspired you to write Helping One Another?

A: Well, back when I was on FFN, there was this story of oneshots that go along with each LoK ep. I liked it, and it inspired me to write my own series of oneshots.

Question 2

Q: If you were to rate your fanon on a scale of 1 to 10, what would you rate it as?

A: Hm... well, 5-6 because I /never/ like any of my works for some weird reason o.o maybe it's because they're too short and not very descriptive.. However, not to brag, I think some of my ideas were original, but with a touch of canon.

Question 3

Q: What advice would you give for fanon writers?

A: Hm... Never. Ever. Give up. Like the WLS said in one issue, there are lurkers out there... reading your story and never commenting for some weird reason (I'm a lurker of several fanons... maybe it could be yours) Also, when you feel like you don't really like your idea anymore, make it more interesting to you and make it more fun to write.

Question 4

Q: What are some of your favorite fanons here on the wiki?

A: Weeell... Elements of Life is an amazing story of oneshots by my editor and the person who greeted me to this wiki, Typhoonmaster. And of course, Air. I'm only 13 chapters in, and it's just. So. Addictive.

Question 5

Q: Are you an editor or guest writer of another fanon story? If so, which ones, and how has your experience been with them? If not, then would you like to be?

A: Well, I'm an editor on "A Family Reborn" written by Blueflame 1, but I've only edited one chappy so far. It would be nice to be a co-writer, so I know somebody will be helping me along when I feel like giving up (which happened several times in my "writing" career").

Question 6

Q: If you wrote another fanon, what do you think it would be about?

A: I've actually been planning an Avatar-FMAB crossover short story about Hiroshi committing human transmutation after his wife died, and becoming severely hurt (I'm not sure what his toll will be yet) and leaving Asami alone in the house while he's at the hospital. I haven't worked out all the kinks yet, but I'm pretty sure that'll be a pretty awesome story to write. :D

Question 7

Q: What do you have in store for readers of your fanon?

A: Expect a few oneshots soon. When school began, I've got several ideas buzzing around in my head for oneshots. And of course, I have my latest oneshot ready to be edited by my editors.

Question 8

Q: What do you think you could have improved on in your story?

A: Description. And length. Definitely. I feel like I just wrote short, un-descriptive oneshots. I certainly need help in that area, and I'm improving on it with my double revisions.

Question 9

Q: What kind of fanon would you like to see someday in the Fanon Portal?

A: Hmm... weell... a crossover. I've gotten into those types of stories lately. And I think they'll be really cool for the fanon portal.

Question 10

Q: If you could be a bender, what would you be?

A: Agh. Too many elements to choose from >.< Probably air, because I like how it's free and how the Air Nomads are so fun and like to throw fruit pies at the other nomads :DD

Question 11

Q: Now, the final question: Who is/are your favorite character(s) from A:TLA and/or LoK?

A: Tough question you gave me here. Probably... Aang from Avatar. Because he saved the world at 12, managed through the sadness of the loss of his people, and of course he's so fun and lively. Would be nice to be friends with him IRL :D

Finishing

Me: Thank you, Humble, for taking the time to do this interview with me!

Humble: You're welcome. :)

Me: That's all folks! I hope you enjoyed this interview, and good luck with your future writing, Humble!
