After being taken off Netflix Instant,[1] the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender (ATLA) is again available for free streaming exclusively with Amazon Prime.[2] This is a part of agreement between Viacom and to include more than 250 TV seasons from Nick Jr., Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central.[3]

Dear Customers,

More Prime Instant Video exclusives are headed your way – this time for kids. We’ve just completed an agreement with Viacom to include more than 250 TV seasons (more than 3,900 episodes) from Nick Jr., Nickelodeon, MTV and Comedy Central.

We have increased by 55% the number of episodes available to top Prime shows for kids like SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, iCarly and more of your Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. favorites, plus added 400 episodes of new shows such as Team Umizoomi, Bubble Guppies, VICTORiOUS, Big Time Rush, and Drake & Josh.

Amazon Prime remains a remarkable deal at just $79/year. Earlier on April 22nd, LA times ran a story that goes "Netflix said it plans to let its deal to carry Nickelodeon, BET and MTV content expire next month, even though it continues to discuss licensing certain shows."[4] Apparently ATLA did not make the cut so it was scheduled to removed from Netflix Instant on May 22nd.[1] Later, Nick made it freely available on their site but only during Memorial Day weekend until the next Tuesday.[5]

Of course, the episodes are only free after you subscribe Amazon Prime for $79/year.[6][7][8] Episodes for The Legend of Korra are still not free with Amazon Prime.[9][10] The Last Airbender movie is also not included, but you can rent it for 48 hours for $2.99, or buy it for a low low price of $9.99.[11] Icon_mrgreen.gif
