Avatar: the movie

Shoud I even take the time to watch the movie? I heard it was bad as the DBZ live action film, and that sucked really bad. Why do they have to turn amazing animes/mangas into really bad live action films? Is it just meant to be bad or somthing, because the Death Note live action sucked too. Anyway, as a huge Avatar: the Last Airbender fan should I watch the movie
