For whatever reason, I had initially determined that Honor Thy Father would be light, entertaining fare. My Own Savior , on the other hand, would be a place to explore darker, more dramatic issues which would stretch the boundaries of the typical fanon drama. Maybe it's the ultimate turn of events which has made Honor Thy Father into a more serious, riveting affair than what I ever intended. The most recent chapter, Full Moon, is a clear example of such tone.
I must thank The Bos for much of the relevant dialogue concerning Aang. His ideas continue to help pull me out of dark, complicated places into the realm of plausibility.
Let me know what you think of how the series is turning out.
