Is it just me or did the "Hundred Year War" not seem like a World War? I mean sure we saw city occupations, armies, and generals planning but, if this was a global conflict wouldn't there be more... well, conflict? I mean, look at the World Wars of the 20th century, those were massive events that left entire continents in ruin. But in the series, the War was like this thing that was happening in one city very far away, or happened when we weren't looking. I know that Nick couldn't show a REAL war, but even so, they could've made it seem like it was more of a global thing? I mean, in the Earth Kingdom there would be a small outpost here or there, but if the Fire Nation was making as much progress as they said it was making, shouldn't there have been forts and soldiers EVERYWHERE? Well, I think I've made my point, what do you think about this?
