Hey, BlackMonkey here! I just finished watching the Korra Trailer, and I'm excited, but scared in a way. I saw her running through cities with skyscrapers, people with sunglasses and top hats, and extremely advanced equipment. As the writer of the fanon, The Avatar Rhythm, I got a bit worried because my fanon takes place more than 200 years after Avatar:The Last Airbender, and is supposed to come after the Legend of Korra, too. But in my story, the World of Avatar is pretty much the same as it was before, and now I'm scared I won't finish my fanon before The Legend of Korra comes out. What if the Legend of Korra answers open plot lines our fanons were hoping to cover and develops higher technology than fanons that take place after it do? What I'm trying to ask is do you think The Legend of Korra will create a canon plot that will mess with many finished, or even unfinished fanons? If it does, what should fanon writers do?
