After a two week break, The Legend of Korra returns this Friday with a one hour special and two new episodes - "In Harm's Way" and "The Metal Clan", both sounding very promising. Thus, Nick has debuted a new commercial/ trailer for the two episodes that can be viewed at the link below, depicting Zuko's dragon landing in the tundra, Korra inquiring about what to do, and Mako and Boilin engaging in a heated battle with unkown enemies. However, the commercial sports a bit of controversy as it is shown opening up to the words "Can't see online... Anywhere else".
To those who may or may not know, Nickelodeon recently removed The Legend of Korra from iTunes and Hulu, as well as failing to post the recently aired episodes on the official Nick websit…Read more >
Air, spirits, and now change.
"The title of Book 3 is going to be called Change," Michael Dante DiMartin confirmed this morning in an interview. "It's all about Korra dealing with the change of the world in this point in time. At the end of Book Two, she says it's a new era. And it really is and we're going to show how Harmonic Convergence and her battle with Unalaq and Vaatu kind of shifted the world a bit."
DiMartino also said that the crew is currently working on the post-production phase for the first couple of episodes. Essentially, this is a vast improvement over last year's offseason. We already have the title and knowledge that the crew is working diligently on post-production material.
As for Season 3, well the title does inspire a l…Read more >
Hey guys. I just want to open up this article by saying that in case you do not know already, or you live in a refurbished rock, the final four episodes of season 2 are currently on Nick.com for your watching.
If you can recall, it took us 15 months to get from Book 1 to Book 2. According to Bryan Konietzko, the wait for Book 3 will be MUCH less than the wait between Books 1 and 2. Obviously, most of you know already that Book 2's ratings dropped and this could be partly due to the fact that the long wait prompted fans to believe that Legend of Korra was over. But alas, this offseason won't be as bad. We'll get through it.
In other news, I'll be writing a full review of the finale and expectations of Season 3 this week. Keep an eye out for …Read more >
After epsiode 5 (Peacekeepers) premieres, the schedule for Book 2 will be modified. Two weeks from now, episode 6 (The Sting) will be premiering on Wednesday and episode 7 (Beginnings pt. 1) will be premiering on Thursday. Furthermore, the episodes will be premiering at 8:30 EST as opposed to 7:00. That's three episodes of Book 2 under seven days. Many of you may be unaffected and will welcome this change warmly, but it doesn't make much sense otherwise. It could be to increase ratings, but it's slightly difficult to convey the change to two million viewers. Perhaps the new timing will expose the show to a new audience?

The same iPhone app that gave us information on new characters weeks ago suggested that LOK Book 2 was airing Setember 7th. However that app's reliability was unknown at the time. But hey, it was still something. Then, an online TV guide known as TV Calendar said the same thing: Book 2 is coming down September 7th. This is just the beginning though, my friends.
An Austrailian TV Guide network has Book 2 listed for a September 7th release date and another iPhone app has also marked down September 7th for Book 2's released date. Still not done though, yet. Another iPhone app known somewhere along the lines as RENEWED has listed all the Book 1 release dates, and has listed Rebel Spirits for September 7th. So those are a couple sources that ha…Read more >
