Hello fellow Avatar fans! A pleasure to meet you. I am The Fossil Maniac! It goes without saying that I love exploring the awesome world of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Outside of Avatar, my passion is for paleontology; the study of prehistoric life forms. Dinosaurs are my specialty, and I have been fascinated by them for as long as I can remember. My goal is to dedicate my life to educating others about these remarkable creatures and their bygone world. I also love writing, and I hope to incorporate it as a major part of my future career. I mostly write nonfiction, but I've always wanted to try my hand at epic sci-fi/fantasy fiction too. After coming across some truly excellent fanons on this wiki, I decided to give it a shot. I hope to begin work on my first-ever fanon soon!
While I'm studying for my undergraduate degree, I help to clean and prepare the fossils of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures for either curation or eventual display. For a dinosaur nerd like me, it is the coolest job in the world! I'm often staggared to think that I am holding in my hands 70 million year old fossils that were once part of living, breathing dinosaurs! It's truly mind-blowing!
