I'm 15 year old Welsh dude, although I'm part Filipino as well.
I'm a huge fan of Avatar, although school and stuff (currently in the middle of my exam period) is kind of preventing me from enjoying the show as much as I'd like to.
I first came across Avatar a few years back, when school wasn't bothering my free time very much. I watched a couple of episodes and liked it, so I decided to watch more. Although, knowing me, I didn't get round to it until recently. I'm proud to say that in the space of a few months I've watched every episode at least twice and I'm now somewhat addicted. :S
I'm quite interested in science, as long as it's not confusing (like physics). I love a good fiction, such as Avatar, and complex stories and stuff. I also like discussing things, any things, just things, you know? I tend to be quite opinionated, although I tend to keep those things to myself in case I somehow offend anyone or say something I shouldn't have.
I used to have a big interest in the Lego franchise BIONICLE and still continue to write a fanon (very incomplete as of late) despite the toyline being discontinued.
I love penguins and most things cute (as do most people :3) and I'm also a huge fan of CSI, most CSI: New York. Working over there as a scientist could be my version of the American dream? :S
Anyway, I'd like to think of myself as quite approachable, although I can never really think of what to say a lot of the time, so forgive me on that. :P
The show just seems so unique to me. I loved the idea of manipulating elements since I first got into Bionicle and Xiaolin Showdown. Since this show is still on the air it's really been the only way my imagination can just open up and let loose.
The Last Airbender was my first real TV show addiction. I loved the characters, the story, the ideas behind it and pretty much everything else. Then when the show ended the only reason I'd turn on the TV is if some movie was on. Now that I'm all grown up (well, almost xD) I'd thought I'd have turned away from all the imagination stuff and stuck with school for a bit. That part of my mind was left somewhere to collect dust, and then the fire nation attacked. :P
No, but The Legend of Korra was released and I fell in love with TV again (the internet really, since it hasn't aired in the UK yet >.>"). The show had grown up a bit. I love how the maturity of the characters, setting and story is balanced so well with the good ol' humour and setting we all know and love (I hope). My favourite character is currently Bolin. It's always the comic relief (Adam Ross from CSI: New York) or earthbender (Toph from ATLA, Clay from Xiaolin Showdown) that ends up being my favourite.
I'm not much of a fan of the shipping side of things. I'd rather just go with the flow, and as long as everyone else is happy, so am I. Although the big ships are annoying (especially Makorra and the way it seems that everyone just pairs the spares to make Bosami), I'm always routing for the underdog, so I guess "Go Borra"? I liked Masami anyway.
