Hi, I'm MightyBrit! I'm a Brit living in the US of A! (See how I got the name now?)
I write the fanon - Child of Destiny - and if you haven't already, please go check it out! I'm also really stoked to say that I've written a chapter for Avatar: Clash of Worlds 3! I'm also set to be involved in Clash of Worlds 4 and the Avatar Wiki Common Series Project headed up by Rassilon of Old. I'm really excited to be working on both of these collaborative projects and have some really cool ideas for both stories... I can't wait to start writing them down!
I'm really open to reviews and comments and criticism, so please leave some. I'm not going to bite your head off, I'm just trying to improve my writing skills and reviews help me immensely. So do it! If you do need help with fanons or editing or whatever, even guest writing, just leave a message and I'll be happy to do what I can.
CoD is currently being released on a two-week schedule, though it's not set in stone and does change on occasion. Big shout out and thank you to Avatar Zali, who is currently editing the chapters.
My least fave character: Momo. (That lemur will never appear in CoD. Never!)
Best episode of the series: Tough one... Probably Bitter Work or Sokka's Master.
Worst episode of the series: Nightmares and Daydreams... Not a fan of filler episodes, give me plot!!
Best part of the movie adaptation: When it ended.
Worst part of the movie adaptation: Everything's a close race here, but I think it'll have to be all the Water Tribe warriors at the end going "OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!"
CoD is all of my forseeable future. Keep an eye out... The whole thing was planned right from the very beginning and very little has changed in all of that time. I love to foreshadow things, drop hints and clues that'll lead you all towards the plot twists and the end of the story. Almost all major revelations are hinted at beforehand... Go ahead and read Asylum Seeker again... See if you can catch a glimpse of The Great Maw, but more on him later. :D
As for after CoD, I have a few ideas kicking around. They'll probably be a spin-off story or two because I've already had a few ideas for some - I think I'll probably call them Tales of Destiny. I've actually half finished one explaining my take on Iroh's life story called My Love, My Life, My Loss, which I'll release eventually. I might do a sequel series as well... I had an idea about a story in the Avatar world when a character accidentally invents gunpowder and the fallout from that. But, I've also got another series in mind, an alternate reality where Aang didn't escape the genocide. I know it's tired territory, but I've got some unique ideas that I think would be really cool for a story or two. Right now, that tentative project is called Avatar: The Legend of Lu Ten.
But that's the future... And it's quite a long way away... CoD still has a book and a half, you know...
