So...some things about myself?

Well, needless to say, I am an avid fan of Avatar and have been so for quite a long time (please excuse the obvious), as well as a student, currently minoring in fiction literature and psychology. For me, writing is a pure expression of myself, my thoughts, and my particular style, and when combined with an in-depth understanding of human emotion, one can truly make a story "come alive".

I believe that emotions are one of the most beautiful things about being human, be it positive or negative.

In keeping with my fascination for emotion, (specifically, love), my favorite benders are, by far, Waterbenders. (hint hint, Water is the element of change.)

Kinda like how our emotions can change at a seconds' notice, eh?

Which is the reason why my favorite character is Katara. She is obviously a very emotional character and has experienced traumas that no one person should bear and as such, her character has been shaped by these experiences. On one hand, I admire her for her courage, strength, kindness, compassion, and on the other I see that she is occasionally indecisive, unable to recognize how she feels, or is TOO decisive, making a rash decision before considering the consequences. And by all means, she has the right to, as does anyone.

"It wasn't perfect. No one's perfect. SHE's not perfect. She's allowed to make mistakes."

But I digress...

Anyway!

I recognized the deep connections, thoughts, and emotions that were put into creating the world of Avatar, and coupled with my infinite curiosity and hunger for a good story, I could not help but go searching for more. Mostly because there are so many unanswered questions about the world of Avatar.

I wanted to see the story through the eyes of others, how it would end (or begin) if they were the ones in control....

...or, perhaps, if they "lost control".

My search began on sites such as fanfiction.net and deviantart.com and eventually led me here, to the Avatar Wiki, and in the process, I have read some of the best stories and fanons and met authors more talented than I could ever imagine.

Since then I have continued my studies as well as posted several fanons of my own, displayed below.

Oh, and, as stated, I am a believer in second chances.
