Rose was bored. That's all there is to it. Her brother was at a friends house, her parents we on vacation, and all her friends were busy. She had absolutely nothing to do. She climbed her favorite tree and seemed to fall asleep. But when she woke up, she was still bored. So she took to talking to herself.

"sooooo bored"

"so so so so soooo booorrredddd!!!" Aang had been sitting in the tree behind her for a while now and felt the need to make her aware of his presence.

"If you're so bored then why don't you get up and do something?" she didn't look too startled that there was a boy in her tree.

"Stalk much?" she asked.

"I wasn't stalking you. I was meditating."

"meditating, huh?" meditating sounded like the most boring activity ever but she figured it had to be better than nothing.

"Can I join?"

"uhh sure I guess." he closed his eyes as he had been doing before, and it hadn't even been two minutes of silence before Rose got bored. She opened one eye.

How does he do that? She thought. For a kid he was really patient.

Suddenly she had to sneeze really badly which ultimately resulted in her falling out of the tree. Aang instantly caught her and airbended them down softly. She looked at him strangely and he blushed, putting her down. Suddenly her look of confusion turned into a look of anger as her eyes widened.

"I know what you are!" she exclaimed.

"you... Do?" he was confused.

"you're one of those religeous freaks aren't you?! You were trying to convert me!"

"wait.. What? No!" he protested. Now he was really confused.

"oh? Then what are you?"

"I'm.. Uhhh. Oh! I know!!" he quickly formed a ball of air and jumped on it, riding around on it like a top. "you're an airbender!" he immediately stopped and looked at her. This was strange. The people here weren't supposed to know about him.

"yeah. But, how did you know?" she shrugged.

"I don't really know". She looked at him.

"but what I do know is that we need to get you some new clothes. I'm Rose by the way."

"I'm Aang" The meeting was sharply interrupted by a harsh demanding voice.

"Rose! Get over here. Puppeteer is angry with you and needs to see you, now!" Aang, feeling uncomfortable decided this was a good time to leave. He had a feeling that this "puppeteer" didn't seem to like him talking with Rose. This was the last he would see of Rose Dragamoir.
