and anyway, i hope i make up for my wikinewbity with my hardcore Ryting sKillllz! That's basically why i'm here - there's some good information out there, but when so many people add tidbits to articles it can get a bit messy. Sooo, I have a pet-hobby of going on complete re-writing rampages. its great cos i get my avatar fix, i get to write shiznit (the challenge of which, i enjoy) and i feel like i'm doing some small good in the world. my friends think i'm sick and obsessed but, whatevs, who needs them.

I also, absolutely refuse to have anything to do with the movie. I haven't seen it, but i'm almost tempted to just to confirm my dislike. Anyone who refers to sokkasm as "Sokka's fart jokes" is quite clearly not to be trusted. (That's M.Night Shamwow, I'm talking about)

UPDATE! i now have the film, and seeing as we paid little to nothing for it, i'm going to watch it for comic relief.

UPDATE! the film wasn't nearly as terrible as i thought it would be; which sucked because it was just good enough not to be laughable. and seeing as i couldn't even find its badness funny, it pretty much blows away the competition in pure worthlessness. I can't believe they spent nearly $300 million on that crap.

Tangentially related thoughts-

i can't quite get my head around the concept of fanon. i'm all for speculative discussion, but fanon just doesnt make sense to me.

The illiteracy in comments on pages never ceases to impress.
