Hello, I'm AvatarHaiLi, as you may have figured out. I am obsessed with Avatar, like many of you people. I can't use enough Avatar quotes! I also have this problem with commas. I discovered Avatar in August of 2010 and was instantly addicted. I owe my addiction to my cousin, who is my best friend and introduced me to Avatar. I have a semi-successful campaign going that is trying to get him involved with the wiki. The same campaign is also running with another of my Avatard friends, Griffin. Now, about Avatar; The animation is beautiful, but the plot is just amazing. There's no other way to describe it. I know all I can about Avatar, as I'm forced to re-watch the old episodes over and over until Korra comes out. That's okay, though. Now I feel like I really know the characters.
This user wishes that Momo and his species were alive in our world.
This user hopes Ursa is alive and has a great backstory for an episode of TLA:TLOK.
This user likes Mai because she's a "goth" girl with personality.
This user would be pretty darn scared if June challenged her to an arm wrestling tournament.
Read my fanon, The Kyoshi Warriors Chronicles! In association with Rassilon of Old, the prolouge and Chapter 1 have been released, and Chapter 2 is coming soon. I have decided to begin MAJORLY adding to The Heir Series Wiki. It needs ALOT of help, and any formatting advice would be welcome!
Favorite Characters
Azula- An all around awesome character. An elite villain with
depth and a purpose.
Zuko- Wow. Zuko is half of the show. It got to the point where
I would just sit around biting my nails, waiting to see what
happened next to him.
Katara- As Mike and Bryan simply put it, Katara is the heart
of the show.
Yue- Her tragic story shows that you don't have to be a fighter
to be a strong woman in the world of Avatar.
Okay, I love pretty much everyone.
Favorite Villains
AZULA- My absolute favorite! She is so evil, and I love to hate her. I'm like, her No. 1 fan! (Well, besides Kaizuh and InspiredbyKaizuh. You can't beat their love of Azula.)
Joo Dee- Some say that she doesn't qualify as a villain. Why not? She's pretty darn villainous, and 100% creepy.
Ozai- A power hungry scheming monarch who's trying to match his forefathers' legacy? Who wouldn't love him?
Yup, gotta love all of the villains, too.
More Favorites:
Sport: Competative swimming. It's not at all like frolicking around in the baby pool.
Music: Accoustic Rock, Beethoven, classical, Damien Rice, Coldplay, that sort of stuff.
Instruments: Pipe Organ, piano, cello, vocal, and the Tsungi horn, of course.
Color: Changes all of the time, but I rather like aquamarine.
Element: Well, as I am the Avatar, I don't think I should show favoritism... *cough-it's water-cough*
Favorite Episodes
Sozin's Comet: Incredibly epic... I cried when Zuko and Iroh were reunited. Everything a finale should be.
The Puppet Master: Creepy in an awesome kind of way. Since Hama wasn't from the Fire Nation, it shows that people aren't good or evil, just in balance or out of balance.
Lake Laogai: INCREDIBLE! So many twists, and one of my favorite plot lines ever!Had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It deserved that Emmy.
The Beach: Gives the villains depth. One of my favorite things about Avatar; the villains have a reason for being the way they are.
I, of course, love nearly every episode.
Episodes of Least Favoritism
Bato of the Water Tribe: This was the last episode I had to watch to complete the series. I'd already seen Sozin's Comet, so I guess it just wasn't that meaningful. Also, Katara and Sokka were total jerks for the first half. Don't get me wrong, it has some great moments. And I love June, of course.
Least Favorite Characters
Hide: I could connect him to some of the jerks at my school... Not quite a villain, more of a bully.
Now, on shippings. I hate the shipping wars- think what you want, but don't get in a fight with someone who has a firm opinion. It accomplishes nothing, people. I'm an honest- to- goodness Kataanger, I guess. But really, I try not to talk too much about shippings. It only leads to hard places. I support only canon ships.
I think I'll mostly do grammatical edits, (I'm a "Grammar Nazi") but I'll contribute however I can.
That's all I can tell you at the moment.
"Goodbye, everyone. Today, destiny is our friend. I know it"
— Iroh
(I just needed a farewell quote, and that was the first thing that popped into my head)
