I have been a fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender since its inception back in 2005. Ever since then, I have been a strong follower of the show, praising it's amazing action and hysterical humor. It's one of my favorite cartoon shows of all time and it always will be. I have also watched some of The Legend of Korra, and from what I've seen, it's just as good as its predecessor.
Aang - Being the Avatar, Aang is a really cool character. He is very comical and he help but can't pass by someone in trouble. He has a can-do attitude, and that deserves respect. Did I mention that he's the Avatar?
Katara - The last remaining waterbender of the Southern Water Tribe, Katara is a very caring person who will stop at nothing at protecting Aang to make sure that he reaches his destiny. She is perhaps the mother of the group, making sure that everyone is just right in the world. She can also hold herself in a fight as well with her impressive waterbending skills.
Sokka - Perhaps my favorite character in the series, Sokka is very witty and the universe just loves proving him wrong, which makes him even more hysterical. He's also a very experienced leader who is very serious when it comes to the heat of battle, just like his dad Hakoda.
Toph - Toph is another witty character on Team Avatar. I absolutely love her sarcasm towards her friends and doesn't hesitate to say something backbreaking. Her skills as an earthbender are superb. Being blind and seeing with earthbending is a pretty cool tactic.
Zuko - To be honest, I really started to like Zuko more in book 3 because of his sense of heroism. He is a very brave character and would do anything to help Team Avatar defeat the Fire Lord. His skills as a firebender are excellent as well, with his redirection of lightning at his disposal. Another reason is that he was the character that underwent the biggest transformation in the series. He wen from a hothead prince only concerned about finding the Avatar to being a caring person who wants to end all evil in the world.
