From Avatar Wiki, the Avatar: The Last Airbender database
The Treetop Hideout is the hideout of the Freedom Fighters. It is located in a forest near the valley where the village of Gaipan lies. From the ground it is nearly impossible to tell that there is a hideout there at all, but hidden in the trees is a camouflaged base of huts connected by zip lines, ladders, and rope bridges. A sharp tug on a secret rope lifts you up into the trees.
It is unknown what has become of the hideout since the recent breakup of the Freedom Fighters. Perhaps it is still being run by members who chose to stay active.
