  • do you think after 100 hunderd year war, somehow Iroh or Azula will teach firebending a lightning? idk why, but on the ATLA series, only Iroh and Azula can lightning.

      Um ... have you seen A: tLA's third Book yet?

      Anyway, to answer your question, judging from The Legend of Korra, I'm thinking that there were a fair number of firebenders besides the Fire Nation royal family that could bend lightning in A: tLA's time.

    • Adding on to what D - Bunk'd said, if you watch Legend of Korra (LoK), then nearly every important firebender has lightning of some sort. It kind of takes away from the whole "lightning can only be used by someone very powerful" bit that Iroh did in Season 2 of ATLA, because we see crime lords using it, and they are pretty weak compared to our heroes.

      Yeah, i find that still a bit sad, cause it was so unnecessary(well but to bring a bloodbender without restrictions wasn't much better).
