  • In part 2 when Aang, Zuko, Mei and Kei Lo are in the Dragonbone Catacombs reading about the First Fire Lord uniting the Fire Islands, Aang asks where was his past life during this whole thing. Zuko tells him that it was before the first Avatar. But if it was before Wan then there would be no Fire Islands yet. People still would still be living on the back of lion turtles and spirits would be roaming the Spirit Wilds. It's very confusing. Plus if Zuko was just ignorant and it did happen post-Wan Aangs question still stands. Where was he to resolve this conflict?

    • What if the Avatar just didn't care? What if he just wanted to live a normal life, be a farmer and have a wife, raise his kids in peace without having to neglect them to save the world again and again, a world who aways needs saving but will turn their back on you for whatever petty reason they got. This was a time when the avatar wasn't a well know entity, maybe he was just a kid growing up far away from the FN's war. There are lots of possibilites, you need to open yourself for them.

    • Fixing any of the world's other million problems at that time. Wan spent basically his entire life trying to stop wars after he defeated Vaatu.

    • Also possible the Avatar at the time had not yet been identified, let alone trained in the bending arts. I brought up the timeline confusion and possible explanations at that issue's talk page at the time, Smoke and Shadow Part 2. Just ignore the outlandish suggestions of other users after I brought the subject up.

I haven't read it yet but it seems like a lot of continunity errors that could have easily been fixed.

I gotta read this comic (or seek out any of those motion comics) later on because I have no clue what's going on.
