The Last Airbender is an American media franchise created by Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, and owned by Viacom International.[1] The franchise is about an Asian-inspired alternate world where some people and animals have the ability to bend, or manipulate, a specific element at will: water, earth, fire, or air. The Avatar is the only person who can bend all four elements. The productions include TV animations and a live-action motion picture, along with its related merchandise, such as clothing, toys, and games.
The Last Airbender may refer to:
- Avatar: The Last Airbender — the original hit animated TV series produced by Nickelodeon that began the franchise.
- M. Night Shyamalan's The Last Airbender — the live-action film adaptation of the first season of the original series, jointly released by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies.
