How was Iroh able to see Fang and Aang when everybody else can't?

Iroh has visited the Spirit World, it's been mentioned some times now, and after that, he is able to see spirits, too bad that storyline was never explored. Omnibender 17:07, 22 July 2008 (UTC)

I just assumed that Iroh (uncle) could see the spirit because it was a firebender's spirit guide, and he was a firebender.
