Left out a few things[]
you left out a few things, 2 characters (besides Korra) are confirmed. Gio-Gio (don't judge on spelling, they didnt give spelling of names in the interview) is Korra's earth-bending teacher, and was hinted to be Toph's descendant. Malu, a ghost airbender, is Korra's airbending teacher, and no i don't know how that will work.
source?
yeah dude please give your source to this interview
wheres your source?
Nice try, Jojo and Malu are characters from the Trading Card Game. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 03:36, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
Wait A second[]
Does this mean we have to change our name?
I would doupt it, our name is avatar wiki, not the last airbender wiki. VJavatar is awesome (talk • contribs) 16:43, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
We don't need to change it, just remove The Lashot Airbender from the title, and have it be just Avatar Wiki. Willy105 (talk • contribs) 21:20, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
hopefully we don't get our name confused witht the other avatar wikiCourage the Cowardly User (talk • contribs) 01:00, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

New info[]
The steampunk thing is making me uneasy. Is anyone else feeling like that? Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 00:24, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
I'm not too fond of the idea either. I quite liked the time period they set A:TLA on. But who knows, mayeb it will work, maybe it won't. But right now, not feeling the idea. Water Spout (talk • contribs) 05:16, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah.... That has me worried. Along with the "More mature themes" But Its not set to come out until 2011 right? I'm sure we'll find out more in the future.Jdg50Legomaster (talk • contribs) 12:07, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
I kind of like the idea. Hiyao Miyazaki's (sp?) anime are set in the steampunk/industrial revolution period. It'll add a more distinct dimension to the series. Razlem (talk • contribs) 04:14, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
@Jdg50Legomaster How is "More mature themes" a worry? N 3rd Street (talk • contribs) 22:48, March 25, 2011 (UTC)
Katara[]
According to Aunt Wu's prediction, Katara is supposed to live to have her third great grandchild before slowly passing away in her sleep. That would imply that she would be in this series, set only 70 years away from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Anyone else agree? --I'm The Bos - Talk - Guardian 03:03, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
It's been confirmed that Katara is Tenzin's mother. Unless Tenzin is a grandpa, then no. Checkyesjuliet (talk • contribs) 03:05, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I misread. Yes, Katara would be in this series. For some reason I thought you were talking about the great grandkid. Uh, guys. I think the Rumors section has gotten out of hand. I think speculative info or deductions (though very logical and most probably will be fact) should be kept out. Right now, the only "rumor" which passes as a rumor is the second one about Meelo and Weibei, and Meelo is practically confirmed since one of the Korean animators made a sketch of him at SDCC. See: http://twitpic.com/280a5v
Also, over at http://dongbufeng.net/site1/ (chatbox):
vince: well i also talked to joaquim dos santos and he said they are probably going to show how aang dies. (im guessing its gonna be a flashback like roku's but idk)
23 Jul 10, 21:33
vince: they also said korra will probably air in the fall of next year
23 Jul 10, 21:12
vince: guys i talked to mike and bryan at comic con they said the track team WILL do the music for korra
Wait, WHAT!!![]
I just learned that Legend of Korra Might be mini-series. Does that mean that each episode is only gonna be 5 MIN? VJavatar is awesome (talk • contribs) 22:28, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
That isnt what miniseries means...Courage the Cowardly Dawn's Past - SoF 22:32, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
It will be 12 episodes. Checkyesjuliet (talk • contribs) 23:20, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
- Have the creators confirmed that this will be a miniseries? Zukofan - Talk 02:55, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think so VJavatar is awesome (talk • contribs) 14:22, August 2, 2010 (UTC)
wow vjavatar, what are you? like 5?
I really hope its not a miniseries though.
It might be just sort of a test run. If lots of people like it, they'll probably make more. The creators thought that "The Blue Spirit" would be the last one, but they made more. LunarGirl28 (talk • contribs) 03:26, August 22, 2010 (UTC)LunarGirl28
Predictions[]
Dosen't it seem like there could possibly be some old war grudges... From the older generation and trinkling down to the newer generation, im also thinking "Due to Anng dissapering for 100 years" Many people who are still sore about the war might blame the new avatar. 2.48am 8/3/10
nope, the villains are the nonbendersCourage the Cowardly Dawn's Past - SoF 07:54, August 4, 2010 (UTC)
I dont think thats possible, given there angry, but not all non benders will be angry and not all benders will be happy plus when i say war i dont mean just the benders itssafe to assume there were fire nation Military men who couldent bend, and there were earthnation Military men who wernt benders... plus The War terroised the lifes of many non benders to there are many examples of that... All this is proven in the episode Zuko Alone... other than the first assumption Obi-oneBinobie (talk • contribs) 03:43, August 7, 2010 (UTC)
Also its safe to assume that becasue of the amount of benders in war time that the amount hasent decreesed mutch so is not like there a small minority being stifled more like a split population 50/50 40/50 almost even. Obi-oneBinobie (talk • contribs) 03:43, August 7, 2010 (UTC)
It might also be due to the advances in technology. Remember the main villian from that first Avatar game? Those without power are envious of those that have power. But once someone is able to BUILD their own power...
It's like how the gun replaced the sword in Japan: A lot of former farmers and merchants who had felt oppressed for centuries by the Samurai joined the new Imperial Army, and I think more than a few soliders were a little too gleeful in wiping out the "oppressive, obsolete Samurai" once they had their hands on the Great Equalizer.Hiroakira Fengxian (talk • contribs) 22:20, August 18, 2010 (UTC)
Im thinking and its very possible that zukos mother is around.. what a great background story she must have.... Well Also im praying that Zuko is still alive and if he is how is May doing and most importaint are kids, now aparently Azula is in a mental hospital but shes way to popular for the makers to keep her down, i see her returning as an atagonist or a even more wild prediction is the blood that makes azula azula shows its self inside zukos kid, Obi-oneBinobie (talk • contribs) 03:52, August 7, 2010 (UTC)

The Journey of Korra?[]
thanks to my best friend the anon, we know that it may be called the journey of korra, should we wait for a more official announcement? it may just be a mistake since the same artice calls it legend of korra.link
Courage the Cowardly User 16:04, August 27, 2010 (UTC)
The correct name[]
Correct me if I am wrong. But isn't the title name Avatar: The Legend of Korra not Avatar: Legend of Korra. I noticed this while creating the Wikipedia article of this and using this as a external link. Jhenderson777 (talk • contribs) 01:53, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I checked their reference links, other sources list the series both with and without "the". I guess we'll have to wait until a more nick related source divulges the actual name. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:03, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
- I checked it too. And only Comic Con states The Legend of Korra. So the original writers might have misused the name. So I am going to do Wikipedia name changing. By the way thanks for inviting me. I am a fan of this show. Jhenderson777 (talk • contribs) 02:09, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
Name Idea[]
I know this probably isn't the place for such, but I thought about another (working) title for the series, calling it The Next Airbender. Not that Legend of Korra is bad, I just thought this name complimented the plot. That and I didn't know where else to give out this idea. 74.78.89.243 19:02, September 28, 2010 (UTC)
No official source calls it that and Korra isn't an air nomad.--Avatar Courage 05:26, September 30, 2010 (UTC)
Suggested Addition to "Rumors" Section[]
In the "Art of the Animated Series" book, Mike and Bryan's introduction included the following:
"And the third-most-asked-question is, "What happened to Zuko's mother?"...Sorry, the [third question] will have to remain a mystery for now."
Offhand as it is, the comment and particularly the "for now" qualifier make it sound like the question will eventually be answered - and if they can't say it in the art book, surely they're saving it for a reason. Is this enough to earn "Ursa's fate will likely be revealed at some point in the series" a place in the "Rumors" section for this page? Hedwigmulan (talk • contribs) 02:07, October 1, 2010 (UTC)
problems for korra?[]
Well apperantly Aang is NOT 'the last air bender' because of his son Tenzin plus Korra has problems finding an air bending teacher (obvuisly) and trys to seek out Tenzin from what i heard (sorry i am a horrible speller and cant find the spelll check)
That'salready been added to Tenzin's, Korra's and the series' page. It's nothing new. Water Spout (talk • contribs) 02:04, October 4, 2010 (UTC)
Korra Live Action?[]
The patent seems to indicate that this will be a live action piece:[1]
If that link doesn't work then just go to http://tess2.uspto.gov do the "free form" search and plug in this number: 85041868 that's the serial for the patent on the show.
Where as Avatar: The Last Airbender:
http://tess2.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=doc&state=4002:m9cpte.4.1 Serial: 85016855 is listed as animation, Korra is listed as Live Action. ~Cresh Osk (talk • contribs) 16:27, October 16, 2010 (UTC)
Rumors section?[]
The speculations on the line art are one thing, as that uses evidence from the previous series to support the ideas of what she might be doing. But the other half is 100% random unsourced speculation. XxKibaxX (talk • contribs) 00:22, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
- which is why it is titled speculation.
Death of Team Avatar[]
I really think that Team Avatar got killed by the Anti-Benders sometime after Aang died, so they can destroy the 4 Nations and they said that the people in the Avatar World have longer life spans than the people in the real world and that really means that they probably did not died from Old Age and died from something else. (see more here)
DigiPen92 (talk • other wikis) 06:37, May 27, 2011 (UTC)
Hah. Stay tuned with my fanon... Actually, yeah... I think there may be a possibility, though I would know for sure. But yeah, I think that may be a way... It will be great to know... —Haybernathy talk http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff433/Toph_Lover/KataangSprite.png 06:40, May 27, 2011 (UTC)
- I think they died of natural causes. I mean, 70 years after the old series had ended, they would all be very, very old. But are they ALL dead or are some still alive? Like a crazy old uncle Sokka or something, that'd be neat. The Master's Voice (talk • contribs) 14:15, October 12, 2011 (UTC)
"The" in the title?[]
I see this was moved from "The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra" to "Avatar: The Legend of Korra"; ha, take that James Camera!
But I was just wondering if this should be moved to "Avatar: Legend of Korra", since the leak stuff doesn't seem to have "The" in the title; it's just "Avatar: Legend of Korra" . . . "Book 1: Air: Welcome to Republic City".

Zuko/Amon Theory[]
Okay I have a theory. Is Amon really Zuko's relative?? Now I get this is a weird theory but listen to my evidence
1. Amon is an unknown person and described "Mysterious"
2. Dante Bosco said he was playing someone in an episode "Skeleton in the Closet", an idiom that is "used to describe an undisclosed fact about someone which, if revealed, would have a negative impact on perceptions of the person."-Wikipedia If Amon was revealed to be a prince of the fire nation or a family member that would kinda be bad for him.
3. The makers of the show said that some firebenders were mad with the war being over and Aang had to stop the riots and protesting
4. Chi blocking is not a bending art, and might not give away that the equalists are firebenders...maybe this is just a plot to overthrow all bending and then reveale their firebending skills and be the last benders, and be able to take over the world!
AnigailUser (talk • contribs) 03:24, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
- I DON'T think they would make the Fire Nation the bad guys again....... 03:50, January 21, 2012 (UTC)
- And what makes you think it's the Fire Nation who are the Antibenders; as Ty Lee also trained the Kyoshi Warriors, so it could be people from the Earth Kingdom as well.
Why not call it Avatar?[]
So what is it's going to be shown as "The Legend of Korra", why isn't it called "Avatar: The Legend of Korra" on the Avatar wiki. What, does that idiot James Camera reframe us from calling it Avatar here too?
The American version will be The Legend of Korra, as was triumphantly announced on the Korra Nation Tumblr. So we are calling it The Legend of Korra. ~Mysteria Femina~ (wall • Girl Genius talk) 23:26, March 20, 2012 (UTC)
Ok, ok. I'm still a little confused on how this naming stuff happened, so everything always feels like "It's James Camera's fault". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.107.151.144 (talk • contribs) 04:17, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
I recently found out that there will only be 26 episodes, which is what they intended. But having avatar a popular show, will there be another longer series?
It says that the series is currently expected to run for two seasons, but Nick renewed it for four seasons (a total of 52 episodes) http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/07/14/comic-con-korra-panel-teases-season-2
24.21.48.11 04:38, January 13, 2013 (UTC)Vanessa Peacock
- To clarify - the season is set for four books, and each season will constitute two books, hence that we have two seasons showing. PSUAvatar14 Want to have a word? 04:39, January 13, 2013 (UTC)
I was thinking about idea of Korra's marriage and having kids
The wording of the last sentence of the first paragraph under Book One reads: "After Aang's death in 153 ASC, the Avatar Spirit was then reborn and reincarnated into a rebellious and hotheaded seventeen-year old girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra." This should be rewritten a bit, as the avar spirit was not born into a 17 year old girl. It was born into an infant that *grew* to a 17 year old girl by the time the series begins.
- Done Though next time, feel free to edit the article yourself, you certainly are allowed to do so ^^ PSUAvatar14 Want to have a word? 13:42, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
5.3 Factual correction[]
Hey, I was reading the new character listing for each book and I realized that it said Kuvira was a part of book 4. This is partly wrong, Kuvira had an appearance in book 3. This also means that her name should be in the book 3 section. Thank you. KryptykHD (wall • contribs) 17:16, June 25, 2015 (UTC)
- Kuvira's listing on the page makes note of her appearance in Book Three, but given that she made only a minor appearance in that book, there is no need to list her within that section. Listings are only needed for characters that made major appearances. HAMMEROFTHØR (wall) • 23:07, July 4, 2015 (UTC)

I've watched this sequel series on HULU once a few years later before it's expiration in August 14, 2019 on my new Blu-ray dvd player. Well, I had once owned a old version of my Blu-ray dvd player before I replaced it.
