I have always heard that people dislike this episode. And my question is why don't people like it? I mean I didn't think it was the best, but i thought it was pretty good and a lot better than "Imprisoned," "The Headband," and a few others. Newyorkme22 01:19, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
I don't hate this episode, but I like it either. I did like the two mentioned thought, it's the first time we see Earthbending, and the other one has Aang pwning Hide without even trying, not to mention the Kataango near the end. I put this episode more or less in the same level as The Ember Island Players. Omnibender 01:50, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
First time earthbending is in "The King of Omashu".
I'm talking about the two Newyorkme22 mentioned. And please sign your comments at talk pages with ~~~~. Omnibender 17:34, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Are you saying you didnt like "The Ember Island Player?" I mean I didnt care for it either, but was afraid to mention it since I know so many people that love it. I think the Great Divide is still better than the Ember Island Players. Newyorkme22 02:00, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
There was no episode in the series I truly didn't like, but the Great Divide and Ember Island Players are quite possibly my least liked episodes. Omnibender 02:08, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
I know why does everyone hate this episode? I like it. Oh and The Headband is my favorite episode. Lord Momo 01:36, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
As I pointed out, I don't hate them, I like them less than other episodes. Omnibender 23:26, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
should it be noted that in this episode it's the Dry Season, but the winter solsitce happened just a few eeks before that, and in our world WINTER=COLD SEASON SUMMER=DRY SEASONMutantkingmagneto 01:21, 11 April 2009 (UTC)
So the "Translations" section says to see Writing in the World of Avatar…but in "Writing" there is nothing at all about "The Great Divide". But I'm sure I remember a section here about the translations of the names of Jin Wei and Wei Jin. Was it removed from the "Writing" section because it wasn't written down?
It should either be restored here or there. As it is now, the information is missing from the wiki altogether.
