Why do they put on eye protection when totality begins? That's complete nonsense - you need eye protection to look into the sun before or after totality, not during totality. Why put on dark glasses when it's dark anyway? Have any of the filmmakers ever experienced a real total solar eclipse? -- 09:09, 20 May 2009 (UTC) (who has seen 3 eclipses so far, going to see the 4th this year)

Hi there. Talk pages are for discussing improvements to the article. This sounds like something that should be on the forums. Cheers, Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 09:12, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Goof to add?

It is stated in the show that the totallity of the eclipse lasts 8 minutes but its really the whole eclipse that lasts 8 minutes. 02:05, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, the eclipse only lasted for 8 minutes, but the episode showed many different areas during the eclipse. Those events were occurring simultaniously. --I'm The Bos - Got something to say? - Read Guardian! 02:08, May 24, 2010 (UTC)

Series Continuity Addition?

Should it be noted that the Fire Nation knew about the Eclipse due to Azula's time pretending to be a Kyoshi Warrior? If you watch the two last episodes in Book 2 (I forget when exactly it is), the Earth King tells her, faking as a Kyoshi Warrior, that they plan to invade during the Solar Eclipse, at which Azula reacts with surprise, suggesting that she didn't know anything about it. Since Team Avatar had to use a special device to find out about it at all, it's highly likely that the Fire Nation wasn't expecting it either, and that Azula being accidentally told would be the reason the invasion fails. Everyone knows that already. It's noted already, if not in this article, in the one about the previous episode. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 02:55, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
I meant to post this in the previous episode, my mistake. Regardless, this is not in the notes of the episode. There are other things that "everyone knows already" that are in the Notes, it's something that is very important to the episode should you have forgotten. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be added. [[Special:Contributions/|Polantari (talkcontribs) 03:59, June 19, 2010 (UTC)]]
