Just Something I noticed

In the Waterbending Scroll Avatar episode, Oh was yelling-advertising into a present-day microphone. However, in Korra episode And the Winner Is..., Shiro Shinobi was talking into a 1920s microphone. Did someone decide to cut back on the technological advances or something? SorcererSupreme21 (wallcontribs) 00:30, September 7, 2014 (UTC)

Oh wasn't yelling into anything as far as I could see by skipping through the episode. Do you happen to have a screenshot for this? Lady Lostris vstf (talkHotN) 10:40, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
I don't know how to make screenshots (or references/notes, while we're on the topic). I just saw this in The Art of the Animated Series (page 54), and it looked really, really familiar. I re-watched this scene again in the actual episode, and you're right, Oh wasn't holding anything. SorcererSupreme21 (wallcontribs) 15:55, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
Those images are just sketches and they drew Oh with a modern microphone as a joke because Oh is modeled after Seung Hyun Oh, a good friend of the creators with whom they went to a karaoke bar whenever the visited Seoul -as explained in the caption next to the sketches :-) Lady Lostris vstf (talkHotN) 16:17, September 7, 2014 (UTC)
