[edit] Many Civilians lost

Are we sure of this? I don't think the Water Tribes suffered many human losses.

We'll have to take a look at it. Omnibender 00:00, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

I think that where it says many warriors and many soldiers lost, we should try and estimate a exact number or as close as possible by using details of the battle. For example; during the day, warriors would have suffered highest casualties, during the night, they would have suffered none. Avatar Otis

[edit] Move?

I noticed that there is no other article with the exact same title, so it's possible to move the article to "Siege of the North", just like we did with Air Temple episodes. Anyone against it? Omnibender 00:00, 4 August 2008 (UTC)

Anyone? Omnibender - Talk 23:14, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

From the look of things, no, no one's against it. Puragus - Talk 23:18, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

Alright then. I'll move the page. Omnibender - Talk 23:25, 2 September 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Template

Should we really use an orange battle template for a water tribe battle? Alex101313 - Talk 19:15, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

The thing is, that if we try to color code it, then we would have to make it (at least) two colors. But, since that would be kindof tacky, we will probably need a universal one. Joey - Talk 21:03, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, when I created it, I used the color of the site, which is the Air Nomad shade of orange. --SuperFlash101 21:05, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Why is Waterbending listed under strength? The strength section is for the military units and formations of either side not for their bending abilities? -Graywand

No, "Strength" is for any force used to combat the other side. --SuperFlash101 22:37, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

Also, why are buildings counted as casualties? Casualties are people and ships, not buildings. And also why are we listing tanks on the Fire Nation casualty side? The tanks were manned by soldiers so why not just type thousands of soldiers like I just edited it to read. I'm sorry, but I had to edit it to make it closer to battle pages on Wikipedia.-Graywand

Okay, 1) We do NOT want this site to become a copy of Wikipedia, 2) Seriously, what IS THE PROBLEM. It's fine the way I had it, 3) Casualties are AREN'T JUST THOSE THINGS YOU SAID! They're any thing that the side LOST, 4) Sign your posts with ~~~~, 5) The tanks were destroyed, so they're the only things we saw hurt, not the soldiers in it, and 6) Can we just END this dispute. It was fine where it was. --SuperFlash101 23:20, 16 November 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Replace Image

I want to replace one of the images of the warriors lined up. There are two of them, which is rather pointless. Here is my proposed replacement. The 888th Avatar 13:54, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Why can't we have both? If we move that last image into the Aftermath section, we could have them. Puragus Talk 17:42, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm not a personal fan of having lots of images cluttering a page. But I'll take your advice. The 888th Avatar 23:51, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

I like that image, if I were to choose one to replace for this one, it would be the one with the warriors Waterbending, that's already used at Waterbending, this way we keep ourselves from using the same image on too many articles. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:51, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Quote Color

Shouldn't the quote be blue? Arnook, from the water tribe, said it so it seems logical to have a blue quote. --I'm The Bos - Got something to say? - Read Guardian! 19:28, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

  • The standard is to use the color according to the Nation that started the conflict. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 21:36, October 7, 2009 (UTC)

Okay, just checking. --I'm The Bos - Got something to say? - Read Guardian! 21:45, October 7, 2009 (UTC)
