Onion-banana juice[]

Should we include this in this article? I think it is really important although its difficult to tell what nation it is from. - unsigned comment from Alex101313 (Talk | contribs) 04:16, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

I was going to, but I got stuck when I tried to categorise it. We probably should create a section for random uncategorised cuisine. There should also be a section for drink. 888th Avatar - Talk - Contributions 08:38, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
Are there more foods and beverages with unknown origin? Depending on how many of them there can be a category for unknown origin or miscellaneous. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 13:56, 21 December 2008 (UTC)
If we look hard enough then we might be able to find at least a few. AlexTalk 13:59, 21 December 2008 (UTC)

Tea[]

I was wondering, we've got an article for every food in the avatar world, even for those only mentioned, buth what about TEA!! It's been drunk in every nation (Aldo I don't now if it's drunk in the water tribes), and over whole the series. And I'm not even started about Iroh... If you guys give me the permission, I would be happy to create it. Thank You Waterkai 20:35, 30 December 2008 (UTC)

I think tea is worth creating. There are differences between Avatar tea practices and real life tea practices. 888th Avatar - Talk - Contributions 22:39, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
I feel just so plain dumb for not ever thinking about tea! It's probably the most recurring and most mentioned edible in the series. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:52, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
Yes, we were pretty stupid. 888th Avatar - Talk - Contributions 00:03, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

It's amazing how we overlook simple things. AlexTalk 02:18, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

So we all say: Thank you Waterkai... Waterkai 08:38, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Well thank you Waterkai. We all went crazy over our stupidity and forgot about the voice of intelligence in this discussion. 888th Avatar - Talk - Contributions 09:06, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

Sure, go ahead. The 888th Avatar (Talk) 00:22, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

Cookies[]

Does anybody know the name of the cookies that are eaten in the end of the episode Avatar Day? Dcasawang1 - Talk - Contributions 18:11, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Do you mean the Unfried Dough? If not, that also should be added. Puragus Talk 18:40, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

Yes, I think is the unfried and elastic dough. Dcasawang1 - Talk - Contributions 13:32, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Pakku[]

Does anybody know the name of the "noodles" eaten by Pakku in "The Waterbending Master". Dcasawang1 - Talk - Contributions 17:15, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

meals[]

I've been wondering what number and kind(s) of meal(s) people(s)in the world of avatar have since it may vary according to cultures. I remember something from the painted lady episode meaning team avatar takes several meals in a day. I first remembered only dinners (at Hama's , with Bato, in the swamp, in the great divide, with Toph's parents ...) then I wondered if breakfast hasn't been mentionned at Kyoshi Island when Aang first arrives. I'm even more unsure about lunch (at the beginning of Sokka's master). Anyone can clarify it ? I don't know much about chinese food and couldn't recognize from an image a seasonnal dish or if something is typically for breakfast/ lunch/dinner /else...

UlisFR 20:56, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

The food listed in the article cover all kinds of meals. Chinese breakfasts vary between region, but noodles, congee (jook) and a variety of simple fare consisting of meats and vegetables are popular. Hot lunches and dinners do not vary too much from each other, and a variety of dishes, listed in the article are served. It's difficult to put foods in the article in a particular meal because dishes often cross all three. (For example, the leftovers from dinner are often for breakfast.) Understood. Thanks. I intended to write a line like with the "three meals a day" thing at the begining of the article (I'm sure it's not every culture in our world having 3 meals and I also think some have just one dish with no entry /dessert). Going to my own sugary breakfast ^^' UlisFR 08:47, December 20, 2009 (UTC)
