this page still needs a bit of work, I think. --Master Storm (Talk to me) 15:10, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Wait, I always thought it was called chi...

The letter "q" in Chinese is pronounced similarly to the English "ch". To prevent confusion, in anime dubs and the like it is usually spelled "chi". Munkiman 04:54, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Since nick.com uses the spelling "chi", it'll be the one used in this Wikia. Omnibender - Talk 17:16, 23 August 2008 (UTC)

Should cases where "chi" is never specifically mentioned, but is called "energy"- like when Iroh is training Zuko in the series premiere, or energybending- be mentioned as possibly connected to chi? Tophvision 14:00, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

In fact, in the episode "Bitter Work", Iroh uses "energy" and "chi" interchangeably- "The stomach is the source of energy in your body. It is called the sea of chi." Should "energy" and "chi" just be treated as synonyms in the Avatar universe? Tophvision 14:04, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
