Am I the only one that notices a connection with the elemental chakras and what you need to be able to bend said element. For example: Fire, you need to have willpower (Drive) but it can be taken away when you have (Shame), as seen by Zuko. All the Elemental Chakras work like that, so is this worth mentioning? Joey - Talk 22:48, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Not really, the Fire Chakra is the only one that fits. Omnibender - Talk 22:56, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

In The Storm, Aang was feeling guilty about the air nomads and abandoning them, besides, in The Northern Air Temple, Aang remarks about the Earth Kingdom refugees as not having the heart, or spirit, which told him they weren't airbending. Some connection must be there. Joey - Talk 23:37, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Images[]

Should have this page images? Dcasawang1 - Talk - Contributions 22:40, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

It should, so I've added the image tag. Try to go to iroh.org to find one or more relevant images from The Guru. --Energybender 22:43, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Make sure we don't have them already. Omnibender - Talk - Contributions 23:54, 5 March 2009 (UTC)

Location of Water Chakra[]

I found it interesting that the location of the Water Chakra was not stated in the show's dialogue. The location of the second (next to lowest) chakra in Hinduism - Swadhisthana - is given as being centered on the reproductive organs. I guess the show's creators couldn't talk their way out of that one, so just left it un-stated. --KenoSarawa 03:24, 23 April 2009 (UTC)

Colors[]

Each chakra is represented by a certain color, in real life and expressed in the show. I request a new addition to the table, titled "color" and listed: red - orange - yellow - green - blue - purple/violet - white (the universe)

The glow[]

With the glow that Aang has when he enters the Avatar State, one could claim all avatars have that, if you look at the footage of Roku in the Avatar State, as well as the footage from the episode The Avatar State, the Avatar's eyes all glow. Flashfire Master of Flames 07:18, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here - we all know that every Avatar's eyes glow when they enter the state, and I'm pretty sure that's how the article reads. Do you mean the tattoos, or am I not reading the article carefully enough? Wjxhuang, the 888th Avatar {Talk} 08:44, November 5, 2009 (UTC)

i loved that you guys broke it down by what the chakras are blocked by using just one simple word. reiki masters and books fail, usually, to be so clear. it helps work on them so much more easily. this show just never ceases to amaze me.

Non-Avatar[]

So, if a non-avatar person, such as a firebender, managed to open these chakras, what would happen?Aeonophic (wallcontribs) 16:42, November 11, 2012 (UTC)Aeonophic

Enlightenment? Maybe even just a general sense of peace? User Page . ƒelinoel_ Contributions 16:58, November 12, 2012 (UTC)
