[edit] Sokka

"I'm sorry I treated you like a girl when I should have treated you like a warrior." - Sokka to Suki in "The Warriors of Kyoshi"
Suki and Sokka

Suki and Sokka first met when she and her warriors ambushed him and the rest of Team Avatar in The Warriors of Kyoshi. At first, the two weren't on the best of terms, as Sokka's sexist attiude annoyed and angered Suki. After being humiliated by Suki after she beats him in a sparring match, Sokka asks Suki if she will train him. Suki accepts, but only if Sokka follows all of her traditions and rules, which includes Sokka wearing a dress. Eventually, Sokka successfully blocks Suki and knocks her down. The two continue to train until Zuko attacks the island. Suki and Sokka work together to defeat Zuko, but to no avail. Realizing they need to part ways, Sokka appologizes to Suki, and Suki makes him blush with a kiss on the cheek.

In Avatar Day, Sokka and Katara go to the island to try to prove Aang's innocence. When Sokka asks Oyaji were Suki is, Oyaji informs him that Suki and the other warriors have left to go fight in the Earth Kingdom. Sokka is clearly dissapointed.

Sokka and Suki reunited in The Serpent's Pass. Without her makeup, Sokka doesn't recognize her, but he soon finds out when Suki once more kisses him on the cheek. Suki decides to travel with the rest of Team Avatar when they decide to escort a group of refugees across the Serpent's Pass. Sokka was very protective of Suki due to his experience with Princess Yue. That night, Sokka tells Suki why is so protective of her. The two nearly kiss until Sokka draws back reluctantly. The following day, Suki appologizes for trying to kiss Sokka, but before she can finish, Sokka kisses her twice.

Sokka and Suki would not meet again for a while, as Suki was soon after captured by Azula. During The Day of Black Sun, Part 2: The Eclipse, Azula tells Sokka that Suki used to mention him all the time, and after he never came, she gave up on him. This causes Sokka to attack Azula in blind rage wasting the rest of the gang's eclipse time.

Sokka and Suki finally met again in The Boiling Rock, Part 1. When Suki first saw Sokka, she couldn't recognize him due to his guard outfit, and she punched him in the gut. When she found out who he was, however, she happily embraced him. When Sokka decided to stay to try to help his father, Suki refused to leave with out Sokka. In The Boiling Rock, Part 2, she, Sokka, Hakoda, and Chit Sang all escaped together on the gondala.

In The Southern Raiders, she and Sokka seemed to have planned to have a romantic evening together. Only to have it comically interrupted by Zuko. In The Ember Island Players, during the scene of the play when Sokka and Yue are separated, Suki teases Sokka about making out with the Moon Spirit. Sokka shushed her so he could keep watching the scene, and Suki expressed notable jealousy.

In the series finale, Sokka creates a sand sculpture for Suki, only to have it destroyed by Zuko. Together Sokka and Suki along with Toph worked together to destroy the Fire Nation Airship fleet. Midway through the mission, however, Suki is seperated from Sokka and Toph. She returns however, with a hijacked airship she uses to successfully save Sokka and Toph.

It is strongly hinted from the final scene of the series that the two of them remain in a relationship.

[edit] Friends

[edit] Kyoshi Warriors

"A bunch of girls, huh!" - Suki defending her warriors from Sokka's sexist comment in The Warriors of Kyoshi

Little is known about Suki's relationship with the other Kyoshi Warriors. However it can be assumed that they all respect her as their leader and that they are friends. It is unknown how long Suki has been their leader.

[edit] Aang

Suki and Aang
"Are you doing okay?" - Suki trying to comfort Aang in The Serpent's Pass

Aang and Suki met when she and her warriors ambushed him, Katara, and Sokka, but after Aang informed them that he was the Avatar, they started to treat him and his friends as honored guests. They met again in The Serpent's Pass. When she found out about Appa, she expressed concern for Aang and asked if he was feeling okay. In the events of Appa's Lost Days, Suki attempts to reunite Aang with Appa, only to be stopped by Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee. Aang and Suki met once more when she escaped from The Boiling Rock. Suki was apparently comfortable enough around Aang to snicker with Sokka when Zuko was sarcastically criticizing him in Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King, and was anxious to find him when he went missing. After the war ends, it is presumed that the two are still friends.

[edit] Katara

Suki and Katara

"You look so different without your makeup!" - Katara to Suki in The Serpent's Pass

Katara and Suki first met when Suki and the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors ambushed her, Aang and Sokka, however, when she found out Aang was the Avatar, her village treated Katara and her friends like royalty (mostly Aang). They also remet in The Serpents Pass, and together with the rest of Team Avatar, led some refugees across the pass. When Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee snuck it to Ba Sin Se disguised as Kyoshi Warriors, Katara, thinking Azula was Suki, revealed to her Zuko and Iroh are in Ba Sing Se. Before she could realize who she really was talking to, she was already paralyzed by Ty Lee. In Sozin's Comet, Part 1: The Phoenix King, she and Suki worked together to try to find Aang, but to no avail. By the end of the series, it can be assumed they are still friends.

[edit] Toph

Suki and Toph
"Oh, Sokka, you saved me"!
"Actually, it's me".
"Oh... You can go ahead and let me drown now". - Suki rescuing Toph drowning in The Serpent's Pass

Suki and Toph first met when in The Serpent's Pass; when Team Avatar traveled to Ba Sing Se. When Toph fell into the water because she could not see on the ice, Suki saved her. Toph, thinking Suki was Sokka, gave her a kiss on the cheek, upon finding out it was Suki, however, she asked Suki to just let her drown. Toph, Suki and Sokka were together in their mission of stop all the Fire Nation Airships in the last battle. When Sokka and Toph were falling off one airship and many Fire Nation soldiers with comet enchanced Firebending were surrounding them, Suki saved them with one hijacked airship. It is presumed the two of them are still friends.

[edit] Zuko

Suki and Zuko
"Actually... we met a long time ago."
"We did?"
"Yeah, you... kinda burned down my village."
"Oh... Sorry about that. Nice to see you again." - Suki and Zuko in "The Boiling Rock, Part 1"

Zuko and Suki unofficially met during "The Warriors of Kyoshi" when Zuko attacked Kyoshi Island in an attempt to capture The Avatar. Suki and her team of warriors fought to stop Zuko's rampage as his Firebending destroyed her village. They were hopelessly outmatched and eventually defeated by Zuko, but bought Aang and his friends the time they needed to escape. Although Aang extinguished the flames on the island, Suki held a deep grudge against Zuko for his attack on her homeland. Zuko's attack was part of the reason Suki left home to assist the Earth Kingdom in their war effort.

Suki and Zuko finally met each other properly in "The Boiling Rock, Part 1". By this point, Suki had been imprisoned in the Boiling Rock by Azula and Zuko had reformed and joined the Avatar's gang. While they were serving hard time, Suki did not hesitate to remind Zuko about his attack on her village many months before. Zuko recalled this event and apologized for his wrongdoings. Despite the obvious animosity between the two, Suki cooperated with Zuko and Sokka in escaping the prison and freeing Sokka's father, Hakoda.

After their successful escape and a brief humorous evening interaction outside Sokka's tent in The Southern Raiders, Suki and Zuko are on much better terms and presumably become good friends by the end of The War. She is seen hanging out with Zuko and the gang at Iroh's tea shop in Ba Sing Se.

[edit] Ty Lee

Suki and Ty Lee
"She’s one of us now." - Suki explaining the union of Ty Lee to the Kyoshi Warriors in "Sozin's Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang"

When Suki and Ty Lee first met, they were natural enemies. Even though Suki was unable to acknowledge Ty Lee because she was to busy fighting Azula, it is likely she got a glimpse of what Ty Lee had done to her fellow warriors. They met once more in The Boiling Rock, Part 2. While the two of them fought, it seemed that they were evenly matched. When Ty Lee betrayed Azula in order to save Mai, Ty Lee was thrown in jail with the other Kyoshi Warriors. They bonded over time, and after a few Chi Blocking lessons, they let Ty Lee join their group. Suki seemed to have happily accepted her into their group in Sozin's Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang. It is likely Ty Lee and Suki now have a firm friendship now that Ty Lee has joined the Kyoshi Warriors.

[edit] Appa

"It's our responsibility to get Appa back to him (Aang) safely." - Suki to the Kyoshi Warriors in "Appa's Lost Days"
Suki and Appa

Suki first met Appa in "The Warriors of Kyoshi", when Team Avatar visited Kyoshi Island. She later remarks in "The Serpents Pass" that Appa is missing. In "Appa's Lost Days" she found and helped Appa in a cavern, when he was lost, afraid and wounded. Although Appa was skiddish of Suki and the Kyoshi Warriors after being kidnapped and abused, Suki gained Appa's trust by offering him apples. In this moment, Azula, Mai and Ty Lee attacked to the Kyoshi Warriors. Suki defended and saved Appa, who was afraid of the fire. Suki kept fighting to enable Appa to escape and told him that he had to find Aang.

[edit] Enemies

[edit] Ozai

"Yeah, or how about "King of the Guys Who… Don’t Win" - Suki trying to mock Ozai in "Sozin's Comet, Part 4: Avatar Aang"

Suki breifly met Ozai along with Sokka and Toph right after Aang defeated him. At first, Suki thought he was dead, but Ozai sadistically told her he was still alive, startling her. Fortunately, he was powerless. Suki attempted to try to mock Ozai just as Sokka and Toph did, only to have Toph tell her to, "leave the name calling to us, honey."

[edit] Azula

Suki and Azula
"What do you want with us?"
"Who are you, the Avatar's fan girls?" - Suki and Azula in Appa's Lost Days

Suki and Azula first met in Appa's Lost Days when Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee tracked down Appa by following his fur. Even though Azula did not find Aang, she decided to attack Suki anyway. Suki drove Appa away successfully, but she was soon defeated by Azula. Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee then stole some of the warriors uniforms and used them to successfully conquer Ba Sing Se by disguising herself as a Kyoshi Warrior. In The Day of Black Sun, part 2: The Eclipse, Azula successfully tampers with Sokka's emotions by telling him her favorite prisoner (Suki) used to mention him all the time, but eventually she gave up on him. Azula and Suki met once more in The Boiling Rock, Part 2. Instead of fighting Azula, however, she directed her attention to Ty Lee. The two met one last time in The Southern Raiders, Azula, however, was much too busy trying to kill Zuko to acknowledge Suki.

Suki likely does not hold much sympathy for Azula after the latter was defeated and subsequently lost her sanity.
