This song was sung by Fire Nation Man before a fight against The Boulder at Earth Rumble VI. Although this song is said to be the Fire Nation National Anthem, the singer is not actually from the Fire Nation, so it is unknown if this is the real national anthem or if the Fire Nation even has a national anthem.[3]

Iroh performed this song during one of his music nights to keep his nephew's crew happy.[4] After the defeat of Phoenix King Ozai, the song was played once again by Iroh with his tsungi horn.[5]

"Leaves from the Vine", a popular children's song, like a lullaby, in the Fire Nation's vernacular,[6] is a song that Iroh sang in remembrance of his deceased son, Lu Ten, on the latter's birthday. He also sang it in the marketplace of Ba Sing Se to help calm down a crying boy.[7]

Chong performed this tune while in the Cave of Two Lovers after he told Sokka of his idea. It was again played after they found their way out of the cave.
