The Mother Superior is the head nun of the Abbey. She has held the position for 10 years.
This caring, yet strict woman is the head nun at the abbey. She has been at this abbey for over twenty years and took over as Superior more than ten years ago. Every day she leads the nuns in meditation and yoga exercises to keep their minds and bodies nimble.
The Mother Superior is also a very smart businesswoman. She and the other nuns make organic perfumes that are in high demand among the Earth Kingdom elite. She sells the perfumes for a large amount of money and uses the profits to keep the abbey in operation and help the poor.
[edit] History
The nuns pouring the perfumes
Mother Superior took Bato in when he was left behind by the other Southern Water Tribe warriors due to an injury. When Aang and his friends meet up with Bato, they are soon attacked by June, Iroh, and Zuko. A battle soon breaks out in the abbey and Katara and Sokka are hit by June's Shirshu and are temporarily paralyzed. Sokka and Katara are then revived by some perfume given to them by the nuns and suddenly Sokka has an idea. The nuns pour out all their perfumes and Katara starts Waterbending them all around. Since the Shirshu can only "see" with its nose, it gets confused and starts lashing at random people, including Zuko and June. The kids find this as a time to escape. It is unknown what happens next to the nuns of the abbey.
