  • Hiya!

A long time ago, you requested a review from me for your fanon, Avatar: Legend of the Arbiter. I've been gone a good while (sorry!!!) but am getting back into the business today. You were one of the inactive authors on my schedule, and I'd like you to know that the entire list has been cleared to let more active users get a chance to sign up.

However, if you still want your review, just say so by replying here. It will be the next review I do, regardless of my current list. Hope to see ya back! Smiling Dai Li Sprite

  • Audio drama?

There would be no discounting of the work I've already done, but imagine the script being done as one hour audio podcasts.

There would have to be changes, obviously, but many of them may be for the better (this would mainly be extensions or plots that I had wanted to expand upon but had to cut in the interest of time)

For instance, I had one point had considered Zhao meeting up with Zuko's ship at a port while Aang and Katara were still on the ship, and having them escape while his men were searching (it could be a funny moment; Zuko is ranting to Zhao that the Avatar is not on board, and then Aang and Katara burst in), but thought it would take too much time. However, Aang and Katara being kidnapped and taken to port would make a great ending for episode one, and episode two could focus on their escape and brief visit to the Southern Air Temple, and so on...

I figured Katara's book could still be used as a framing device and narration.

    What are your two cents?

    • Hey there, sorry it's been so long since I've gotten back to you.

On the over-eager apprentice, I think that at this point you might want to go easy on yourself and try to avoid adding a whole bunch of new supporting characters (one of LoK's problems) unless he's way in the background. And besides, that sort of role might be difficult for a child actor to pull off properly, but if you think you should go for it, by all means.

Otherwise, I don't have a lot to report. Good news is that I managed to snag a full-ride scholarship from St. Mary's University so I'm kind of *cough* coasting *cough* (giving the middle finger to) AP Physics C and AP Calculus BC (You'd know how hellish those classes can be if you were a Texan) for the remainder of the year. And to top it off, Spring Break has officially begun in my neck of the woods!

Best of luck in your endeavors. I may not be around as much as I used to be though. I've gotten kind of burnt out on Avatar, especially after getting the "korrasami is canon" crud crammed down my throat.

    • Honestly.... waning interest is one of the reasons I've not posted as much. I've just sort of gained interest in other things. I'll look back at all of this as a way of getting me into writing (which is something I haven't lost interest in at all) and improving storytelling techniques. I'm just glad I drafted all of these plans... you never know after all. Thank you for everything. And, congratu-freaking-lations on that scholarship!

  • So, hey, it's been a helluva while since my latest chapter so sorry about the wait.

Chapter 10 is finally here! And, it's the longets one yet so (I guess) it was worth the wait.

This is the first segment of a two-parter, so things are getting intense. Hope you enjoy!!!

    • I've been thinking of how to hybrid our two treatments of the climax... What do you think?

As the fleet arrives, Aang and Co. rush to the walls, helping to dispell the fleets until the wall is finally breached. Aang is shocked with Yue's requests to destroy the fleets, instead mounting Appa and attempting to destroy the fiery catapults. Aang is wounded, and attempts to escape, however, he gets in a brawl with a captain of one of the ships.

Meanwhile, Katara, Yue, and Iroh attempt to make their way to the Spirit Oasis. After Katara, who recieves nasty slice at one point, discovers a power, which Pakku later explains to her. She attempts to attack Zuko as she sees him trying to make his way into the city, but they are seperated in the chaos. They discover Zhao waiting for them, and even as Yue and Iroh attempt to convince him to give up his plans, Zhao kills poor Tui.

As the other two attacks were going on, Sokka went back to discover Jishi, raving to himself like a madman, Sokka eventually snapping him out of it.

Jishi: M-m-my... My inventions... We've got to try.

Sokka: Try what?! What are you talking about?

Jishi reveals that he's been working on a battle balloon, which they attempt to pilot against the navy, even managing to save Aang's life. However, Aang saves them back as the balloon is shot down.

      (back to normal time now)

Katara despairs at Tui's death, but Iroh reassures her. Yue turns to Katara and asks her to 'explain it to Sokka, when you get the chance' as she's 'really grown fond of him'. Yue ascends to the heavens, and the moon is restored.

As Aang sense what has happened, he suddenly becomes determined, rushing to the city's main wall. With all the voices of his memories echoing inside of his head, he dives into the water. The fire stops, as a truly amazing thing happens.

Aang ascends, floating upon the water, and casting it out in all directions, and finally freezing it in place, the whole fire navy along with it.

Zhao attempts to strike Aang, shattering the ice with a stab, and attempting to do the same on the Avatar, but not prevailing. For, the ocean itself seems to grab and drown Zhao.

      What do you think?

  • Avatar Fanon Wiki Logo

We'd like to thank you for your creativity in creating a brand new fan fiction story or fanon article.

In order to maintain a high quality of stories on Avatar Wiki, we routinely check new submissions for basic standards. Unfortunately, the sophistication and quality of your new submission was not yet up to our standards, and we have moved your article to User:WilliamsonKnox/News_and_updates/Avatar:_Legend_of_the_Arbiter.

Once you have improved your article at the location it has been moved to, feel free to leave a message on the admin noticeboard where respondents will again evaluate your article. If standards have been sufficiently met, your article will then be moved back to its original title.

Even though it is a news and updates page, there still must be enough content on there to justify having it in the main fanon-space.

  • I see you like TFP Alpha Trion reminds me of Avatar Roku. My Faviorite TFP characters are a tie between Predaking,Ratchet, and Alpha Trion. I'm a fanboy.

    • Greetings Fellow Fanboy! My personal favorites are Optimus Prime (because he is an epic leader and played by the epic voice of Peter Cullen), Ratchet (Jeffrey Combs rules!), Soundwave (because he's never failed a mission and doesn't let pride or ego get in his way, plus he's really cool), and Starscream (because he's voiced by Steve Blum, a match made in voice heaven, and he's the first tactically competent Starscream rendition, though, regretfully, the most pathetic). TFP!

    • I like Predacons.

    • Great, me too. I especially like how they designed the Predaking's Dragon altform (with the predator mandibles and all, that was an interesting design choice). So, how have things been going on the wiki overall? I hear you're into fanon.

    • Thanks a million! Even though it might seem counterproductive to the point of being nominated, I decided to give your nomination my support. It was your support and encouragement that helped me write my fanon, so I thought I'd return some of the favor. Thanks again! :)

    • A thousand winky faces.

By the way, the new chapter should be up soon. I'm setting up further events with one plot point.

That toothed dagger from a few chapters back is going to be introduced as a sort of chiefly heirloom, and, to make things better, Sokka will make it into his sword with Piandao.
