Hey, UA. I saw your recently creation of Swamp (disambiguation), and I don't want to be harsh, but I think that page is unneeded as we have redirect link above the quotation. I cannot do more except a note: disambiguation page is only for navigational purpose that contains a lot of articles that can't be redirected via the redirect.
(Redirect stands for the This article is about Zuko's uncle. For other uses, see Iroh (disambiguation).
You are welcome. Sidenote, as example of the necessary disambiguation page, you may see the Omashu's disambiguation page. There are plenty of articles that cannot be linked via the redirect page. :-)
Hey UA. I'm glad that you're getting into the editing spirit with creating so many pages, but please remember not to get too sloppy with it. I recently saw on the "Reach for the Toph" article that you created it with copy-pasted coding from the information I added to the "Game Time" article. This causes a bit of trouble -- in doing so, you also copy-pasted the release information of 'Game Time's periodical marking (November 2008). Therefore, on the article, you had info and a ref that had nothing to do with "Reach for the Toph" except making it look like true release info, which is false. If ever you don't see a trivia point under the comic's name on the list of comics article, the default is having been originally released by Nick Magazine (as they're all really Nick Magazine, just more specific in some cases) with no release date concerning Nick Magazine's info.
Thanks I guess. I'll be creating the Sokka the Avatar article today. Though it would be long, It's like 15 pages long.
I actually did not pay attention for the release information whatsoever. I know that you'll do the same so I just copy and paste it. If you know where I can get the actual release date(besides The Lost Adventures) then tell me.
Haha, sure! Sorry, didn't know you liked this one.
In answer to your question about finding the dates: In December of 2012, I was trying to find out about an ambiguous trivia point on the Kaya page (what a coincidence! She being from the same comic I'm creating now, that is) that stated with no source that she was named Kaya in the script direction. Well after scrolling through the page history and visiting the talk page that no one uses anymore, I found what it came from and referenced it on the article. Well, the site that had that info on it had info for almost every other Avatar comic too (the site was an advertising site for Nickelodeon's Nick Magazine until about 2010 or 2011). Then it was just the tedious matter of going through every page of that damn blog and adding the info about release dates, periodical markings, simultaneous release dates, magazine names, etc. for a day or two during my Christmas break.
All of that info can usually be found on the list of comics article, where I posted all of that release info.
I see you created the page, not too shot and not too long. If I write articles whom only 7 pages like more then that, imagine what would happened if I created this one xD
I'll be creating the bonus comics so leave it for me please.
And sure, you can definitely create those articles. I'm done creating for today, anyway; school won't let me go even on the weekend. Just two more weeks!
I think there's a typo when you said "unknown if he found it, or did it." Did you mean "if he found it, or bought it" Or maybe "if he found it, or made it"
Can you please remember to license your images when you upload? Your new once are or will be taken care off shortly, so you're good for those, but could you please remember to do that for the future, thank you.
I have been doing it so far, that's the problem. It's the uploader's responsibility, normally. The template is {{imagebox}}, though there is a short link to it among the icons when you click edit, so it really isn't hard to find.
Btw, I thought about an article, "Sokka's creativity". It will about what ever Sokka ever done (i.e His paintings, Architecture(how he builds stuff), woodcarving, poetry etc..). Is it an okay article?
That is already sufficiently listed on Sokka's page itself. The key on AW is quality, not quantity. We rather go for combining articles and make one long, high standard article than several minute and irrelevant ones.
This is not licensing. You have to copy the code you find on the imagebox template and then fill in the parameters as explained on either of the pages I linked you to.
You just read the explanation of with what you have to fill it in and then fill it in accordingly. It is not something that you find, it is something that you think up yourself and then fill in.
I already understood you about licensing. I just want to know how to upload pictures properly. Where do I find this program? And when I do, what do I do there?
She does color correction, to ensure that RGB proportions are in-line with most of our wiki images. But I doubt that such a tangential and broad line of conversation needs to be discussed at the present moment, as I believe this is meant to concern image licensing - Policy will yield you most of our image criteria in the meantime, so you should consult it appropriately.
I thought you said you understood about licensing? Your last uploads were yet again without. I have fixed them (or am about to), but please, mind this for the future. As said, it's the responsibility of the uploader to take care of the licensing, cause you are vastly mistaken if you think that the license doesn't matter.
How can I license the comic images? It's not that I'm doing it in purpose, I just forget sometimes(sometimes, you can see that my other uploads indeed have been licensed).
You license comics just like you would license everything else. Everything is explained in the template itself, and you can always look to other licensed comics to see what you need to do.
I have deleted the page of Sozin's father as there is no point in having that page. We don't know his name, we don't know any memorable acts of him, and all what we do know about him is already mentioned on either the Fire Lord article and/or the Royal gallery page.
Sorry, your page about the little Air Nomad child has no relevance what so ever, nor is there a true story to be given. There is no need for minute pages about characters with no meaning (and it is not because there are some pages like that on the wiki that those are a defining argument to allow new ones like that to be created).
Sorry to butting in, but UA, I believe none of us have anything against you. It just comes when you create article that actually, is unnecessary nor unneeded. If we need to create the article, I believe it must be an important one or long enough to stay in the wiki; ofc with no repetition. Please just don't say that your contributions aren't accepted here, it just about the time and what do we need - minor articles are unneeded, imo. Really, we don't have anything to you.
About the Air Nomad boy, I think it because:
1) The boy appeared in 2 episodes, and his appearances in the series give some effect to the series. Sorry, bad English
2) It has no repetition everywhere, in which the length of the article is not redundant.

If this is deleted then delete "Air Nomad boy" article.

Also, if you feel the other page should be deleted, feel free to run it through the VfD process.

I believe, every article I create needs to be deleted? same goes to pictures I upload, fact is that those aren't deleted until you come online.
Oh please, not this "you are gunning for me" theory again. Firstly, I didn't delete you images (only the one about the little Air Nomad kid since it was supposed to go on the page I deleted, so served no purpose). I uploaded another version of the image you uploaded to conform better to AW standards, which is something completely different to deleting it. And secondly, only administrators have the ability and clearance to delete pages and images, so it's a given that only one of the seven administrators would do that. Your pages were unnecessary and as such fell withing the criteria for speedy deletion. So again, please don't go thinking again that I have it out for you. I would've deleted that page regardless of who created it. It had nothing to do with you, but everything to do with the content.
I see. I seen dozen of articles that has no to little content yet they aren't deleted. The article I posted, he actually talked to Aang(quote), had an appearance, and long enough to stay as an article.
No, I don't see a need to restore that article as it has no value, neither of them did. The difference between the Air Nomad boy article and the two you created is that the former hardly falls under the "speedy deletion" criteria anymore since it has been here so long. As such, it needs to go through the VfD, so feel free to propose its deletion.
And yes, you didn't literally say it, but given your recent take on those things and the context it was in, it's cleat what you meant. But I'm with you that I feel little to have another pointless argument where I try to point out the importance of a context.
Please, UA. Do not say that; can you mention those "articles that has no to little content"? It might because of our lack of precision, and we say sorry. Just don't judge yourself like that, don't judge Avatar Wiki hate you.
Yah, "looks like it" is implying it given your previous talk about something like that to Fruipit and it is really pulling straws. You really need to learn to not take things so personal, cause this is at all not about you.
And yes, cause I am under the impression that I don't need to do anything and that my judgment in this case was just. As such, you want a second opinion and obviously, I can't be the second opinion as the original party. Besides, I wouldn't be so sure about the fact already that the page will be restored, cause I was within policy to delete it on valid grounds. But as said, you are free to ask another administrator to check the page as well.
Please do not censor people's fanon like you did here. There is nothing wrong with using "shithole", especially not on fanon. The fanon language rules are a bit leaner than the canon article ones, since it is sometimes part of the story to use harsher language, so please don't make such edits again in the future.

will i still get the badge? if i dont, better i just publish it my own
No, you won't. If you let someone else post the fanon page, all the initial edit and the category additions go to the person that posted it, not to the creator.
Unnamed Airbender wrote:
Do you want to join the "Category Warriors" group?
I see a potential in you, and I believe you will be a great addition.
UA, you are requesting someone to join who doesn't even categorize his own fanon pages correctly and hasn't categorized anything in general? Please don't take any of that personal, but you know that it is not right to do so, and in the end, it will not even help you with anything, as a community consensus can still get the group deleted.
@AvatarMJC, No you won't, you are free to deny, I was trying to help.
@LL, community consensus will be, and if the community decides to delete so be it.
I'm just trying to gather members, this user group purpose was to teach other as well, which I forgot to mention. He has potential in learning, that's why I invited him.

i loved to help UA but if i do, my hardwork didnt show results.. but if i dont, it's not good. i mean we share things together//\\
AvatarMJC, you really are too hard on yourself, as your work was never "no good" to begin with. You always added the necessary templates and you have very few to no spellings errors on your page. All that you frequently forgot were the categories, but that hardly counts as "no good", so imo, you really have nothing to worry about.
We have a categorization guide in which you can find all the necessary information about categories. There is also a section on how to add categories that explains the two ways you can go about adding categories to pages.
Hi. I'm not sure why you contacted me on another wiki, but if it doesn't have relevance to that wiki and you can contact me here, just do so here.
I am between a rock and a hard place. I noticed that you removed and made some changes with everything that I had done with and crated the user group with, and then you say that you are the founder of the group and only make membership acceptances based on your complete judgement. So as of right now I am a bit uncomfortable with these actions and I'm not sure what you wanted me to do.
It was something else, and since they won't allow me writing "leader", founder is a replacement for that. I replaced "founder" with "leader". What's wrong with membership acceptance by my decision? It's my group now after all. Though, I won't deny every member which requests, I might even add some of the newcomer, in which I see potential.
I needed to talk to you privately, email or some sort of another communication way.
I feel the need to point out (again, please don't think I'm having a go at you, or anything like that), but due to a forum debate some time back, the title of "founder" is no longer accepted. What I mean to say is that being the founder of a usergroup does not make you it's leader. The point of usergroups is to foster community spirit, as well as grouping people with similar ideas on how to better the wiki in mind (such as the Transcript Team), which is a possible reason as to why Tech Wizard is uncomfortable with you having executive descision making skills.
Fruipit brings up some pretty good points and pretty much understand my current state of being regarding the whole situation. "Founder" really shouldn't be used at all. Also, while you may be the only active member of the group, I don't see why you didn't just create a new group instead of rephrasing some of what I created and called it your own. That's why I'm uncomfortable. If you want to talk to me privately, feel free to email me.
