  • Thanks a ton for your article. Just letting you know that we got it!

Content looks great, but there's one thing I should mention: could you bump up your word count to 150 or so? That's roughly the minimum for a feature in the BSST; the more of you in your column we can have, the better!

If you'd like to discuss this elsewhere or have separate inquiries, you can email us directly at bsststaff@gmail.com. Thank you so much again for contributing!

  • Dear sir,

Would you be interested in participating in the Avatar Colosseum again, this time writing for either Mako or Bolin in a battle between them?

  • First of all, thanks for the offer.

Most of what I wonder is what they said about Harmonic Convergence. Did they explain anything about Giant Jolly Blue Korra, Cthunalaq, or Deus Ex Jinora?

I also wonder a bit about Unalaq's & Vaatu's true motive. Did Unalaq just want to rule over both worlds, or did he want to destroy all humans? Why did Vaatu seem to cooperate with him instead of trying to take control of his mind?

Oh, & I'm always arguing with people about whether or not Vaatu is the sole cause of the Dark Spirits. Do they say anything about that?

I know people have other questions, like why Lin trusted those incompetent officers over Mako, why his friends didn't trust him about Varrick, or how Unalaq met Vaatu. I'm less curious about those, but I'd still be interested in hearing anything they had to say about the subject.

I think that's all of the questions I can think of, except for a general "Did they say anything interesting?"

    • Ok I'll try and go through them so it may take awhile to give you complete answers anyway off the top of my head I know that Blue spirit Korra was Korra reaching a higher level of spirituality which is a Buddhist teaching according to Bryke they said they wanted to mirror aang in the guru which was pretty self explanatory. Unavaatu was able to be formed since raava was destroyed he was now the dominant spirit. As for the final battle and deus ex jinora even Bryan admitted he didn't know exactly what jinora did but they kinda explain that she was just a means of transportation for raava and she gathered the little pieces of raava and and allowed a new raava to form within vaatu mike said they were going for a feel rather than a logical fight. They also wanted to mirror the ozai and aang light battle durring that fight. I'll keep you posted on some more stuff

Some cool things I found were that Wan is 17 at the start about 19 when he meets raava and is 20 to 21ish durring harmonic convergence

The longer iroh or a human spirit remains in the spirit world the more spirit like they become that's why the painted lady is so ghostly

Vaatus lazer beam sound effect is actually just a ship horn amped up

      Just to name a few

Thanks, but I don't want to make too much work for you, or anything.

anyway off the top of my head I know that Blue spirit Korra was Korra reaching a higher level of spirituality which is a Buddhist teaching according to Bryke they said they wanted to mirror aang in the guru which was pretty self explanatory. Unavaatu was able to be formed since raava was destroyed he was now the dominant spirit.

Did they say anything regarding why giant Korra hasn't happened since, let alone some kind of Korraraava giant? Oh, or why Vaatu could emerge from Unalaq's mouth during the fight? I always assumed Unalaq could do that because he knew more about spirits.

mike said they were going for a feel rather than a logical fight.

Tell me about it. Though I guess that's not so shocking, since they establish in later books that she is drawn to certain spiritual energies.

They also wanted to mirror the ozai and aang light battle durring that fight.

I don't know how that was mimicked, honestly.

I'll keep you posted on some more stuff

      Thanks.

Some cool things I found were that Wan is 17 at the start about 19 when he meets raava and is 20 to 21ish durring harmonic convergence

That is neat, I did always wonder that.

The longer iroh or a human spirit remains in the spirit world the more spirit like they become that's why the painted lady is so ghostly

That's one I did know already. It's also how the game's antagonist achieved immortality & spirit powers.

Vaatus lazer beam sound effect is actually just a ship horn amped up

Yeah, now that you mention it, it does sound like kind of a higher-pitched version of a foghorn.

  • Hey, XD. This wiki isn't the place for us to seek achievement. All those badges are not meant to urge us adding unnecessary categories in all pages, so please stop doing what you've done. Thank you.

    • Sorry didn't mean to add anything useless just thought that the origin of bending learned from the dragons ect would be beneficial to categorize as bending

        Loading editor
    • You did not categorize "dragons" as "bending", you did the exact opposite. In any case it would be beneficial if you went through the wiki's categorization policy so as to avoid miscategorizing articles in the future. In addition, I would urge you to keep additions to a single page limited to one or two combined edits as opposed to several minor edits in succession, as the latter could be misconstrued as badge editing, which is a blockable offense.

  • Hi there!

The Category:Bending does not actually need to be categorised further. Those categories are not relevant to the navigation of 'bending'.
