how would i further my serach for editors and co-authors other than blogs and the classifieds and how would i get people to read my fanon and make it great too, my last fanon was okay but i feel great about this one even more Avatar: Tales of the World please help thanks!!
Hi there Midori; sorry for the late reply. Ah, promotion of your fanon and appeals to the community for editors and/or co-authors can be done in a few ways. You can write an article advertising your fanon or requesting editors and submit it to the Ba Sing Se Times newsletter or the White Lotus Sentinel newsletter. People will read the article and perhaps reply, saying they wish to help or will read your fanon. Just a heads-up, the White Lotus Sentinel is a specifically fanon-centered newsletter, so you may wish to have an article published in the WLS for that reason.
There is also the option of using the Fanon Advertisement System which can draw attention to your series. Also, if you have any particular friends on here or people you've talked to in the past, tell them about your fanon - if they haven't already been reading it, of course - and ask them to give it a try. That's another way to garner more readers.
I hope you found these suggestions helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. =)
Hi UW. I'm just coming by to inform you that the BSST has a number of open spots for articles, and I would like to see if you could contribute anything by the 1st of June - as you, as well as some others, haven't posted anything through us for some time now. So... Is there anything you can do for us at this stage in time?
Hey KMP. Ah, it would be nice to possibly contribute an article to the BSST... Unfortunately, I can't make an absolute guarantee that I will have an article to submit by June 1, however, I will definitely try to write one.
Sorry for the late notice; it seems as though I ultimately won't be able to get in an article for the BSST. I'll consider the possibility of doing so next time; my apologies for this.
Not here to be sexist or anything, but it was it just a coincidence that all the airbenders are female and fire are male? Anyways, i really like the storyline. Can't wait to start reading it!
Hi there Thedestinedone. Oh, why thank you; I hope you enjoy the story. =)
Ah, the reason for there being solely female airbenders is because the Air Nomad side of the story is set in the Eastern Air Temple, which exclusively housed female airbenders. As for there being only male firbenders, yeah, I know, that's just the way the story has developed at this point. Technically speaking, the majority of the firebenders in the Avatar series were male, save for a few exceptions like Princess Azula. So I guess that trend continues. xD
Yep, the Eastern Air Temples is girls-only; no boys allowed. =P But in all reality, yes, it is home to solely female Air Nomads. And really, I appreciate the support so much, being an (maybe, perhaps? ^^) aspiring writer.
Yes, the Southern Air Temple houses all males. Oh really? That's cool. ^^ I might check it out when I have spare time. In any case, the best of luck with writing. =)
It should be meteorite because they are large enough to pass earth's atmosphere unlike meteor's which are destroyed in the process because they are too small.
Right, for factual inaccuracies; but yes, good that you brought that to attention. And what exactly do you mean? Any user can undo edits, if they feel the need to.
Hey UW! Long time no see! I've been really busy with school and, well, pretty much just really busy with life in general. Anyway I wanted to ask you what you think. I was recently scanning through some articles (specifically character articles) and I thought of something. I noticed that all of the ATLA characters use past tense such as "He was" or "She was" and I was wondering why we used past tense on those pages. I feel like someone that isn't up-to-date with the new series would be confused as to why those characters are used with past tense. Any thoughts on this? :-)
Hey Tech; haha, yeah, long time, no talk. =P Believe me, I've been up to my neck in schoolwork as well lately... painful, isn't it? -_- But I hope things have been well for you lately. =)
Right, generally speaking, the articles are written in past tense. I don't believe it would throw anyone off who hasn't yet seen the entire series, at least with Korra. Past tense is just that, a tense, and I believe that when chronicling/telling about events and such, it's more favorable to use past tense. At least, that's my impression. =)
Hi there. I see what you mean, but I believe that would be done through complex coding or another technical method of some sort with which I'm not familiar. I know that KettleMeetPot and Thailog are very experienced in that area, however; I'm sure they would be able to tell you how to remove that.
I just used the one thta you said it should look like and it still is saying added by. I'm trying to figure out if it is merely because of me not caching it properly or if I am doing something else wrong.
Sorry about that; I had been away for a while. But I just saw that Lady Lostris moved your fanon back to the fanon namespace, so it's all taken care of. Good luck with continuing your fanon series. =)

no worries there, er im not sure how but the entire page has sortta malfunctioned... i think you and i edited it at the same time and all the links and pictures in Green man vanished :P you know how i can fix it?
OK. I had thought you knew more Spanish than that, sis. Sorry 'bout that. Don't kill me. Ulti, I geninuely thought she knew more that that, but I see she forgot some. I actually meant that she knew. I have some friends from school who can speak it, though.
Ah, so pretty much around the time I get out, which is June 25. Although my last official day of classes is the tenth, next Monday; then it's the dreaded exams. O_o
Oh wow, that's awesome. ^^ I'm pretty jealous of you right now. While you're having a grand old time, I'm stuck sitting in a desk in a building that doesn't have air conditioning and hearing lectures and whatnot. =P That's pretty cool that you guys do that.
Whoops, sorry for the late reply. Yeah, unfortunately, us students are made to suffer during the summertime with no air conditioning; all we have are ceiling fans which just make a lot of noise so that the teacher has to yell for us to hear him/her. -_-
Hell the Ultimate Waterbender. My name is Justin and I am requesting your aid in helping my Avengers Assemble wiki, a wiki for the series that is premiring on the 26th. I can do everything alone like I am doing now and hope that you and others from the largely populated Avatar the Last Airbender wiki community will find it in your heart to help.
Hi there, Justin. I would love to be of help to you, but unfortunately, I am not very knowledgeable in the subject of the wiki, so I don't believe I would be a great asset. I'm sorry about that.
However, I wish you the best of luck with furthering your wiki. Just keep working at it and it's sure to take off. =)
Oh it's fine I guess, it's just that I wanted to build a community on it and I figured that since the show wasn't out yet it would be the perfect time to do so. However, I will not hold you further and would like to thank you for your consideration.
