Since you offered to review the next chapter of my fanon this weekend, and I managed to finish up said chapter late last night, I would now like to take you up on that offer. [Here] is a link to the sandbox containing the full rough draft of "City of Walls and Rules"
Please feel free to fix any misspellings or grammar mistakes I might have made, but be sure message me on this thread if you run into sentences which are more questionable, or if you think the overall content ought to be altered in some way. (Or talk to me about said problems on the IRC, if we happen to cross paths in the inter-rum.)
And of course, if your homework studying schedule prevents you from doing so, please just tell me and I'll simply proceed to try and review the rough draft myself. Trust me, I'm the last person who'd want to interfere in your personal life...
Hey Mysti, how are you doing? Sorry about the non-response the other night. I actually left to go make dinner and forgot I was still signed on IRC until I came back to my computer much later *facepalm*
Haha. I'll take a look at it. I'm going to just put them in a vertical line like on my page. If you want something fancy I can go fetch the codes, though.
Hi I have a question about air nomads, if they are so powerful. Seeing how aang was a great airbender, along with his son tenzin and korra defeating noatak with air. Why did the airbenders fall to the fire nation soldiers? the air nomads Should have won, why didn't they?
1) The Air Nomads were a peaceful people, and didn't have a proper army. Most of them probably didn't even fight back beyond some defensive maneuvers. Just becase Monk Gyatso was shown to have defeated many firebenders before his death doesn't mean all of the airbenders fought so hard.
2) The Fire Nation had the power of Sozin's Comet. Their bending was significantly more powerful than normal, and any bender would be hard pressed to beat a firebender while the comet was overhead.
I refrenced you in a comment and you have said that you disliked the idea. Since I never asked you permission and you have told me that you were offended in some way, I have taken the liberty of editing the name into this:
"KyoshiJammer97"
Please don't feel as if you are being too demanding in anyway since it was I who parodied your name without your permission in the first place. Though, I haven't received any other complaints but if more people start voicing their concern, then I guess I'll just have to either come up with new usernames that have no refrencing or just edit the whole post to a period.
Thank you for taking my feelings into consideration. (I was surprised that you even referenced me at all. I've been rather inactive all summer.) Next time perhaps make up usernames from scratch rather than use other people's names? And name references aside, your concept was kind of funny.
I'm glad you enjoyed it! I thought about what user names to use at the time and was about to make up my own with names like "The gAangster" and "Roku>Aang" but then thought that it would be better to refrence popular users on the Wiki. Even though it was my opinion and you did seem to be inactive like you've said before, I still found you to be a popular user in the Wiki. I'll keep in mind about never using or refrencing other user's names on the wiki. I've already been asked to stop using the username template to mess with people (ex: I think Korra would dislike if she was real.) and there are more ideas for jokes that I have abandoned completely since they were either not funny to begin with or just crossing the line. Regardless, I'm still glad that you put a response to my original comment.
