Hi Indyfan817, I know that you want to get a lot of edits, but just make sure you base your edits on facts. And don't revert other users edits unless there is a problem. You can get in serious trouble. Ask Lady Lostris about what happened with Omar067. It was ugly.
I really didn't catch all of it, because I wasn't active for some reason. However, he was apparently reverting other user's edits. I only found out about this when he made a nasty comment and Lostris (I think) called him out for it, then they got into a catfight with their comments and another admin (Avatar Roku's Ghost or Agent Slash) broke up the fight and then Lostris berated him for the reversions. I think he's currently the leader of the anti-admin revolution, which is basically a couple registered users and mainly nonies that are complaining about the fact that the admins are removing their erroneous edits. Like for example, some anon created a page that said Amon was energybending when debate over that rages on.
Yeah, because people are just whining about their edits being reverted, when most of the registered users who are members have a history of doing the same. The admins are just trying to hold it together. I hope that these idiots come to their senses and realize that drama is better in the Legend of Korra then on the wiki.
Sorry to be popping in, but I'd just like to point out that I never berated Omar for anything, and I certainly did not get into a catfight with him. I am not one to quickly lose my temper, especially not to someone on the internet. Omar felt oppressed about the power admins had and claimed that they were abusing their powers. I did engage into a civil conversation with him about that, just like nearly every other admin and active user, regardless their rights, did. It got indeed ugly, but hopefully it can all calm down soon, cause this is a situation that no one likes to be in at the moment. The entire situation can be tracked down by taking a look to Omar's message wall and the message walls of the user's involved in conversations with him.
Hello fellow (I'm assuming you are) geek wiki users. I just got on this wiki today (June 9th 2012) and I am hoping to become one of the users with the highest edit number. Yes I know it's ambitious, seeing as I just got on here today but you know, a guy can dream, can't he? (P.S. I'm a guy, so that last bit isn't completely random.)
